Farmer's Home & Barn Sale! Farm Equipment, Vintage Toys, Fairbanks Scale, WWII German Helmet

Some very interesting history comes with this Estate Sale! General George Washington was in this Circa 1700's home when during the fall of 1778 when the Colonial Army was camped out on Quaker Hill. Additionally, this property was part of the Estate belonging to American broadcast journalist and war correspondent Edward R. Murrow. Murrow died in the main house on the property in 1965 at the age of 57. (Last interesting fact (I promise!): we conducted two auctions at the Main House 4 years ago!!)

The Estate Sale is the contents of the Farmer's home and barns. He grew up in this farm home and his parents lived here for 60 years farming the land for the property owners. Fast forward to 2025 and the current property owner no longer wants to farm the land. The remaining contents of the home including really cool stuff like a Fairbanks brass scale; a German WWII M35 helmet; three Pawling Fire Department helmets, jacket and boots, Pirelli light up sign; Guinness neon sign; vintage political campaign buttons for Nixon, Lindsay, McGovern, Dewey/Warren and others; Brass fire fender; toys from the 1970's including slot cars, action figures, Matchbox, farm vehicle toys, comic books, board games and other toys either partial or whole. The barns are filled with tools, chains, parts and pieces of things! The outdoor areas are filled with working farm equipment as well as pieces that are in need of repair.
