Savona Estate Sale: A Lifetime of Collecting — Hess Trucks, Vintage Art & even the Kitchen Sink

This is a collection built over decades. This family estate sale brings together a genuinely wide-ranging assortment of vintage goods, including furniture, collectibles, and art as well as practical hunting goods & storage, kitchenware, and appliances.

Antique Furniture: A genuine find for mid-century modern collectors: a matched bedroom set from Heywood-Wakefield, in their classic blonde “Wheat” finish including a long dresser with mirror, five-drawer chest, a low open bookcase, and compact nightstand. Other furniture includes a 1950s chrome & Formica kitchen table and chair set, dressers, desks, chairs, cabinets, and tables.

Hunting Goods & Storage: For the hunter or shooter in your life, this sale includes a locking gun cabinet with glass front doors, built to hold long guns securely while displaying them, plus a wall-mounted felt-lined gun rack. For the reloaders: a reloading bench with multiple lockable drawers, stocked with brass casings, primers (CCI, Federal, Remington), and reloading accessories. Several vintage Hercules “Red Dot” smokeless powder tins are also available. (Note: no firearms themselves are included in this sale – storage, optics, and reloading equipment only.)

Collectible Toys: A substantial run of vintage Hess toys trucks, including several from the earliest 1960s releases, alongside a run of Wings of Texaco die-cast airplane banks. We have vintage machine-made marbles, a Singer toy sewing machine, and a tin “Silver Mountain” toy train.

Artwork: A notable 18th century Boydell/Earlom engraving after Claude Lorraine, plus a collection of prints, folk art, and Americana spanning several eras and styles with regional and historical interest. Several Wallace Nutting prints.

Notably, a substantial set of Hall China “Autumn Leaf” pattern dinnerware (made for the Jewel Tea Company), including bowls, a teapot, covered casserole, pitcher, and platters. The collection also includes hand-blown and pressed glassware, milk glass vases & baskets, antique bottles in a full rainbow of colors, and a collection of glass ashtrays.
