Local Line Auctions LLC – In-Person Auction Terms & Conditions

By registering to bid and participating in this auction, all bidders agree to the following terms and conditions, which are legally binding under the laws of the State of New York:

AS IS, WHERE IS: All items are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees, warranties, or representations, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Local Line Auctions LLC, its owners, agents, and staff make no guarantees as to condition, authenticity, or completeness. Bidders are solely responsible for inspecting items prior to bidding.

ALL SALES FINAL: All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be accepted for any reason after the auctioneer declares an item sold.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Full payment is required on the day of sale.

Accepted payment methods: cash, debit card, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx).

No personal or business checks will be accepted under any circumstances.

BUYER’S PREMIUM:

A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price of all items paid by cash.

A 14% buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price of all items paid by debit or credit card.

SALES TAX: New York State sales tax will be collected on all applicable purchases unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is presented at registration. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide proper documentation at the time of purchase.

BIDDING & DISPUTES: The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In the event of a dispute or tie bid, the auctioneer has sole and final discretion to determine the winning bid or to re-offer the item. The auctioneer’s decisions are final and binding.

REMOVAL & FORFEITURE:

All items must be removed on the day of the auction, unless prior written arrangements are made.

Any item not removed within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the auction will be considered abandoned, and ownership will revert to Local Line Auctions LLC without refund or credit.

Abandoned items may be resold, disposed of, or donated at the sole discretion of Local Line Auctions LLC.

Buyers are solely responsible for the removal and transportation of their purchases. Auction staff may assist at their discretion, but Local Line Auctions LLC assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or injury during loading or transport.

LIABILITY WAIVER: Attendees enter the auction premises at their own risk. Local Line Auctions LLC, its staff, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, damages, theft, or loss occurring before, during, or after the auction.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: Local Line Auctions LLC reserves the right to deny registration, cancel bids, or remove any bidder from the premises for disruptive, fraudulent, or inappropriate behavior. All decisions by the auctioneer or management are final.

GOVERNING LAW: These terms and any disputes arising from this auction shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal action must be filed in the appropriate court within Chenango County, New York.
