![David Batz ceramic hanging picture. David (a friend of mine) was known for his functional pottery, as well as his glazed ceramic pictorial reliefs and sculptures. This piece features a variety of images and symbols, including faces, a world map, and what appears to be a figure from Egyptian mythology.
The Chinese characters on the left side of the artwork say "靈合", which translates to "spiritual union" or "spiritual harmony" [tool_code]. This may be a clue to the overall meaning of the piece, suggesting a connection between the earthly and spiritual realms.](https://picturescdn.estatesales.net/4515195/1-2/149cb92d-1cc1-4335-b7e2-16523e533ced.jpg)
