By registering for and/or bidding in any auction conducted by Vintage Auctions through www.vintageauctionsonline.com (http://www.vintageauctionsonline.com) (the ?Website?), you (?Bidder? or ?Buyer?) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Registration & Eligibility
All bidding is conducted exclusively online. Bidders must complete online registration and provide valid identifying and payment information prior to bidding. Vintage Auctions reserves the right to deny or revoke bidding privileges at its sole discretion.
2. Auction Format; Reserves
All auctions are conducted in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code (U.C.C.). Unless expressly stated as ?Absolute,? all auctions are with reserve. The Auctioneer may accept bids on behalf of the seller or an agent of the seller during reserve auctions.
3. Buyer?s Premium
A 17.5% Buyer?s Premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot and is payable by the Buyer as part of the total purchase price.
4. As-Is, Where-Is; No Warranties
All items are sold ?AS IS,? ?WHERE IS,? with no guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, authenticity, condition, age, grade, or provenance.
It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to determine the condition, value, authenticity, and suitability of any item prior to bidding. Descriptions and photographs are provided for convenience only and may be supplied by the consignor. Errors or omissions do not constitute grounds for cancellation or adjustment.
5. Authenticity & Condition
Vintage Auctions does not guarantee grading of any item. Grading is subjective and based on individual opinion. The Bidder is the sole judge of condition and value. Once a bid is placed, it may not be retracted.
6. Bidding; Pre-Bids; Disputes
This is an online-only auction with the option to place pre-bids. Bidders are responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on and for monitoring their bids.
In the event of a disputed or contested bid, the Auctioneer reserves the right to reopen bidding between the last two bidders or take any action deemed appropriate. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid, determine bidding increments, and resolve all disputes in the best interest of the seller.
All announcements or updates made online or at the time of sale take precedence over prior printed or posted material.
7. Technology Issues; System Failures
The Auctioneer makes reasonable efforts to ensure the proper functioning of all online platforms, bidding systems, and related technologies. However, the Auctioneer shall not be responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, failures, or malfunctions of any bidding platform, internet service, software, hardware, or other technology, whether within or beyond the Auctioneer?s control.
If a technology issue or system failure, in the Auctioneer?s sole discretion, affects the integrity of bidding, sale processing, invoicing, or the fair conduct of the auction, the Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw, pass, reopen, reoffer, or declare unsold any lot, or to remove any lot from an invoice, at any time before or after the close of bidding. No sale is final until invoicing is complete and payment is received.
The Auctioneer?s determination regarding technology issues and remedies shall be final and binding. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from such actions.
8. Final Sale; No Cancellations
All sales are final. Once a Bidder wins an item, a binding contract is formed, and full payment is required in accordance with these Terms.
9. Returns
Returns are approved solely at the discretion of Vintage Auctions. Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Buyers must notify Vintage Auctions of any shipping damage within five (5) days of delivery. No return or refund requests will be accepted after that period.

Credit or debit cards will not be accepted for gold items effective January 1, 2023. A valid credit card is required for registration. Invoices not paid within four (4) days may be charged automatically to the registered card.
Applicable state sales tax will be added where required by law.
11. Non-Payment; Remedies
Failure to pay an invoice in full may result in cancellation of the sale, forfeiture of bidding privileges, resale of the item, and liability for any resulting deficiency, costs, and fees.
12. Shipping & Risk of Loss
Vintage Auctions does not offer local pickup. All items are shipped domestically within the United States or to Canada only. Shipping occurs within approximately 48 hours after payment has cleared, subject to auction volume and timing.
Packages will be shipped to the ?Ship To? address on the invoice unless we receive written notice prior to the package leaving our facility. It will be the bidders? responsibility to make sure their address is correct at the time of the auction.
Risk of loss passes to the Buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
All shipments are insured. Claims for lost packages or delivery issues must be reported within ninety (90) days of shipment. After this period, insurance coverage expires and no reimbursement will be provided.
13. Shipping Charges
Minimum shipping and handling charges apply and are included on the final invoice for all US and Canada packages. Charges may vary based on weight, size, destination, or oversized packaging requirements. Oversized or special-handling items will be shipped at exact cost.
Invoices to CA, OR, and WA are subject to a $5 surcharge. Shipments over $1,000 require signature confirmation.

14. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Vintage Auctions, its owners, agents, employees, consignors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the auction or use of the Website.
15. Indemnification
Bidder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vintage Auctions from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from Bidder?s breach of these Terms or misuse of the auction platform.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Vintage Auctions operates.
