The Most Fun You Can Have - Estate Sale in SW Portland!

We're in SW Portland in the Arnold Creek neighborhood  this weekend with a Wonderful sale!!  

If you are a woodworker/hobbyist, collector of pretty things, artist, kid/or kid at heart.... or just like estate sales - this one ticks all the boxes!

BUSINESS FIRST:

There will be a sign up sheet that will go outside the home at 9am Saturday. You will be responsible for adding your name. We will line folks up around 9:50 and start letting everyone in at 10am - in order. IF the home becomes too full - we will resort to one in/one out.

Also - PLEASE do NOT block neighbors driveways or park next to or behind the pod. That area will be reserved for employees and customer loading.

Home is alarmed for security.

LIVING ROOM:

Do you currently or are planning to collect Lustreware?? Because WE HAVE GOT YOU. Hundreds of beautiful and some rarer pieces!! All at prices you can actually afford. Buy that missing piece, or buy 3 and start a new collection. Or, heck... buy 20 and you've got Christmas covered in January! And it's not JUST that - we've got an antique music cabinet (it doesn't plug in - cord has been cut) but it's cute and a unique storage piece. We've got old books, mid-century blue glass decanter, antique fishing rod, an antique leather top desk, stunning antique carved wood chair with claw feet, HUGE classic design wool rug... and ART. 3 mid century pieces in this room - one by FLOREM - cubist style with great coloring, a moody piece from Jane Rutledge and a fun piece by Sara Linn Harkin. There is also a gorgeous Kawai black standing piano, incredible curvy/beveled BLUE antique mirror, Gucci scarf (unable to authenticate, but it's still beautiful with insects and butterflies) and a basket of costume jewelry - some really neat pieces!

DINING ROOM:

This is such a fun space! And it's mostly in part to the furniture here. Colorful, vintage and such a statement. We have 5 pieces of 70's folk art painted pieces. First a desk - topped with ducks, pottery, vintage cigarette holder (with vintage cigarettes!), wood pieces, old books, vintage cameras and other fun misc. Under it is an antique/primitive chest, a vintage Portland law book and a very old Geography book. Next is a bookcase/cabinet. This piece is loaded up with more wood and pottery, Santa Clara pottery, exotic pieces and a mid century menorah. Third is a really cool dresser - painted in the same style. This one is topped with more pottery, old books, cute antique kid's chair, vintage glove box and we can't forget the Wiinblad candleholder - beautiful and intact. There is also a pottery bowl full of colorful glass floats. We also have a twin size bedframe in this style - how sweet is that? Lastly is a rush seat chair (little worse for wear, but still cute!) - with a basket full of great books. We also have plants in here, a black metal corner shelf loaded up with even MORE Lustrewear, fun wall art, large pottery bowl of very old opera photos (think Theda Bara) and an absolutely Incredible carved wood screen with florets and linenfold details. Lots of global inspiration in this room!

KITCHEN:

So much great stuff in here! We've got Fiesta plates and pitcher, great cookbooks, enamelware, vintage "milk" pieces, sterling decorated glass, meat grinders (ours are candleholders - but you do you), brass, crockery, reprint of the White House Cookbook, McCoy mixing bowl, green depression plate, copper ladle, MORE Lusterware, Asian inspired kitchen items, cheese cloche with marble base, cookware, bakeware, cast iron, light oak sofa/console/hall table, light oak round dining table with chairs, china, glass, THREE sets of gold tone flatware, silver plate, super cute metal tea cart (was outside - needs a little cleaning), tea cups and pots, curved black metal plant stand (ours has teacups, of course)... Coffee and tea items - lots of fun, pretty and practical pieces in this very full kitchen!

FAMILY ROOM:
Really stylish simple sofa, lots of Asian inspired pieces,  some fantastic art, MORE Lustreware - some GREAT pieces in here! Blue and white, vintage standing speakers, newer media cabinet/console, vintage side table/cabinet - and LOTS of fun games!! Many new or gently used. Asian black and white screens. Off of this room is the deck (not pictured) - lots and lots of plant pots - terra cotta and colored, kids bike and other toys, gardening supplies and there are a few bbq's down in the yard - PLEASE ENTER THE YARD AT YOUR OWN RISK. It's a bit sketchy down there, so if you go down - please be careful. No prices on those items - we'll work it out for you. :)

UPSTAIRS

ART ROOM (and more!):

Main room - SO many art supplies! Paints, pencils, papers, you name it! Lots of fun crafting items as well! Light oak farm table, stereo equipment and electronics,  vintage trunk and books, wood and pottery decor, rocks and shells, art/large book rack, antique sewing machine cabinet, loads of children's books - some of the classics! Levered door console cabinet with Buddha and other decorative items. Magazine rack, several pieces of art - but one stands out... "Umbrellas" by Jeline Rodney. Gorgeous and desirable piece!!

Off the room you'll find a large walk-in closet - full as well!  Huge collection of Nixon and the inauguration, Xyron creative station, lots of office supplies, signed Richard Dean Anderson photo, crafting supplies, "famous blue raincoat", some clothing... this closet shouldn't be skipped.
Going the other direction in the art room you'll find a large bathroom with walk-in closet. Towels, bath supplies, art, Asian robes, hampers, vintage Disneyland bath towel. Definitely worth a quick visit!

LANDING on top of stairs has two full bookcases of wonderful reads!!! So many subjects - in no order - so look hard and look twice!!

HOLIDAY/KIDS ROOM:

Some Halloween, Lots of Christmas - ornaments, stockings, beautiful primitive Nativity, painted gourds, carved wood santa and reindeer, mugs, plates, stuffies, bin of ribbon, books and decor. Basic desk and shelves, small metal filing cabinet, kids and adult books, toys (some collectible), Barbies, vintage Happy Meal toys and more.

BEDROOM 1:

 The "girly" room. Surprise - MORE Lustreware! Dolls and doll furniture, linens, nice full size bed, gorgeous antique (burl wood?) dresser with swivel mirror, Spring decor, more white bookcases, women's clothing and shoes. Shirley Temple autographed photo and TWO dolls, Beatrix Potter art, painted jewelry armoire, flower seeds, vintage beaded purses, antique (stunning) wedding dress and photo of the original bride, GUNNE SAX dress - we never see these!! Vintage size 9.

BEDROOM 2:

This bed. It has the coolest MCM vibe AND a nice memory foam mattress. It's basically perfect. There are also linens, accessories, vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt (RIP, Dave), Grateful Dead Reader book, bb cards, some decor, super cute vintage desk or side table with curved shelf sides, vintage bomber jacket with sherpa collar, the most  PERFECTLY worn leather recliner - absolutely classic! Standing telescope and books on astronomy, pretty tiger oak slim highboy dresser (needs one handle), pottery, Himalayan salt lamp, men's clothing and shoes.  BLAZERS vintage glassware in excellent condition!

GARAGE:

En route to the garage (through the kitchen) you'll go through the laundry room. W/D - NFS, but the stuff on it is! Party ware, some kitchen, cleaning supplies and household maintenance. In the garage you'll find camping gear, vases, folding tables and chairs, storage pieces, JUGGLING and BUBBLE BLOWING supplies! , hand tools, computer parts, wood carving and wood working supplies, scuba diving gear, yard and garden tools, fishing rods, crab traps and clam guns. Lots of larger tools - jigs, sanders, Central Machinery mill/drill machine - Sieg X2 mini mill, Bauer planer, Tormek Super Grind 2000 wet sharpening system, Dewalt DW 735 two speed thickness planer, Nova Comet II midi lathe, shop vac, JET benchtop oscillating spindle sander, Tormek jigs, forstner bit set, chisels and MORE. Professional or hobbyist woodworkers will love this garage!!
