De Simone’s work is known for its vibrant colors and cubist drawing style, which was influenced by artists like Pablo Picasso. The company’s artistic tradition is continued by his daughter, Susanna De Simone.

“Weaver”, a bronze sculpture after listed artist C.M. Russell. Signed as shown in photos and measures, 8” H x 6” W x 5” D. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and “Kid” Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures.

This lot features a stunning vintage pink iridescent vase by Glass Eye Studio, circa 1985. Signed MSH (Mt. Saint Helens) and measures, 4” H x 2.5” W x 2.5” D. Founded in 1978 by a group of glass artist friends, Glass Eye Studio’s first hotshop was nestled in an alley of Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Since its inception over 40 years ago, it continues to thrive with the same passion and revelry for all things glass. As one of the oldest and largest privately-owned hot shops in the country, it’s rich artistic legacy has incubated generations of artists, including some of the most famed glass artists of the Pacific Northwest.

This lot features a set of Kosta Boda Atoll glass votive candle holders, designed by Anna Ehrner, with a white swirl and a blue swirl pattern. Anna Ehrner, born 1948 in Danderyd in Stockholm, is both a designer and glass artist who’s characterized by her simple design language. With an experimental expression, she has an ability to create effectful pieces with only a little color, where lines of color inside the glass has become a recurring feature.

"L’Enfant Sur Le Chemin De L’ecole" or, "The Child on the Way to School", an original painting by listed artist, Hervé Di Rosa circa 1989. Measures in frame, 43” H x 33.5” W. Hervé Di Rosa is a French painter known for his colorful, graphic style that draws from popular culture, comic books, and graffiti. He was a key figure in the Figuration Libre movement, which emerged in the 1980s. The work reflects Di Rosa’s embrace of mass urban culture and his love for pop culture, combining bold colors and a sense of vitality. Professionally framed and in very good condition.

“Breeze”, an original oil on canvas by listed artist, Jacques Deveau. Signed lower right, professionally framed, and measures in frame, 33” H x 45” W. Jacques Deveau was a French post-war contemporary artist born in 1937 and was active in France during the 20th Century. As an impressionist painter, he was known for his detailed works depicting scenes from daily life; notably works of simple life by the garden or beach often depicting beautiful ladies and children.

“Tranquility″, an original acrylic on canvas by listed artist, Camilo Requejo. Measures in frame, 13.25” H X 13.25” W. Requejo (1976-) is a Mexican-Spanish architect living in the US with more than 20 years of experience in design and construction, including several residential projects, sports, and medical facilities. Requejo started collecting art from recognized painters and sculptors for the past four years, waking up in him the desire of exploring and transporting his architectural style into art manifestation; combining geometric shapes with color combinations into the canvas.

“A Scene from Autumn”, a giclee on paper by listed artist, David Najar circa 2014. Hand-signed by the artist and limited edition with certificate of authenticity and appraisal from Park West Gallery. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 27.5” H x 27.5” W. Born in 1962, David Najar grew up in Israel. His teachers recognized Najar’s artistic skills, but his family was less supportive of Najar’s talent. “In my family there was no such thing as an artist or painter. The closest thing to a painting we had at home was a tapestry, ” Najar says.

"Spiral Thrust", a black and white woodcut print by listed German-American artist, Werner Drewes. Hand-signed by the artist and limited edition. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 25” H x 20.25” W. Werner Drewes was born in Canig, Germany, and began studying art in 1920 at the Stuttgart School of Architecture. A year later he transferred to the Stuttgart School of Arts and Crafts. From 1921 to 1922, he studied with Paul Klee, Johannes Itten, and Oskar Schlemmer at the Bauhaus in Weimar.

"Intrusion", a limited edition hand-signed black and white woodcut print by listed artist, Werner Drewes. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 25” H x 20.25” W. Werner Drewes was born in Canig, Germany, and began studying art in 1920 at the Stuttgart School of Architecture. A year later he transferred to the Stuttgart School of Arts and Crafts. Their work is characterized by iridescent glass and clear crystal glass with intricate lampwork designs, often inspired by nature.

"Ishibashi", a Japanese woodblock print by listed artist, Tsukioka Kōgyo. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 16.5” H x 21” W. The print depicts a scene from the Noh play Shakkyō. The play tells the story of a priest traveling in China who encounters a boy at a stone bridge, which is the entrance to the realm of the bodhisattva Manjushri. The boy reveals himself to be a messenger of the bodhisattva, and two lions appear and perform a dance to celebrate Buddhist virtue. Tsukioka Kōgyo (1869-1927) was a prominent Japanese artist known for his prints of Noh plays.

This lot features a Japanese woodblock print from the Pictures of Noh Play series by listed artist, Tsukioka Kōgyo. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 16.5” H x 21” W. Tsukioka Kōgyo is considered the preeminent artist of Noh and Kyōgen theater, and his works are celebrated internationally. His prints are noted for their unique style, which resembles ink drawings or watercolors, and required highly skilled engravers and printers. The artist’s work helped to preserve the art of woodblock printing during a period of modernization in Japan.

"Warrior Play", a Japanese woodblock print by listed artist, Tsukioka Kōgyo. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 16.5” H x 21” W. The print depicts a scene from the Noh play Atsumori by Zeami Motokiyo. The play is a shura-mono, or "warrior play, " which is part of the "dream" genre of Noh theater. The story focuses on the ghost of the young samurai Taira no Atsumori and his killer, Kumagai Naozane. This particular print is from the series Pictures of Noh Performances (Nōgaku zue), which was released in five volumes between 1897 and 1902.

This lot features a Japanese woodblock print from the Noh Theater series by listed artist, Tsukioka Kōgyo. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 16.5” H x 21” W. Tsukioka Kōgyo was the adopted son and student of the ukiyo-e master Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. His prints are known for their detailed and elegant portrayal of Noh actors, costumes, and stages. His work is considered an important visual record of the traditional theater form during the Meiji era.
