Book Auction - From the William Roberts Library

A fine estate collection drawn from the imposing Rittenhouse Square townhouse-turned-private library of the late Bill Roberts, longtime partner at Blank Rome, we offer a selection of the high points of his favorite subjects: Music, Classics, Botany, Poetry, Art and Law. Music is represented by volumes on Baroque music, the lute, violins and violin-making; Classics by a selection of early editions of Virgil and a variety of standard references and foundational texts; Botany by good 18th and 19th C. titles in the field, especially those focused on Mosses; Poetry by a fine collection of first editions of the works of Wallace Stevens; Art by volumes focused on the Italian Renaissance and the art of the 20th century; Law by choice 18th and early 19th century American law books.
