Large and very clean Estate Sale in Cogan Station December 11-12 Snow Dates 12-13 starts at 8:30am

Our next sale is here! 

This is a whole estate sale and will feature items throughout the split 4 level home and the garage and back porch/yard, as well.  This sale will be held at 178 Florence Drive in Cogan Station.   The sale will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 11th & 12th with snow dates being December 12th & 13th.  Our hours the first day will be from 8:30am-3pm and the 2nd day will be 8:30am-2pm. We may open early if the line is long or the weather is bad.  As usual, we try to open the doors around 8am if our staff are in place and everything is ready for the sale.    Parking is available along Florence Drive and we are asking those who have mobility problems only park in the driveway if they are comfortable with possibly being parked in.   We cannot provide traffic control to ensure you can leave timely if you choose to park in the driveway.  

            To get to the sale, take the Hepburnville Exit off of 15 and turn left onto Lycoming Creek Road.  Proceed north and turn onto Eckard Rd.   Go 4/10ths of a mile and turn right onto Miller Rd.  After going 2/10ths of a mile, turn right onto Airline Dr.   In a very short 200 ft, turn Left onto Brentwood Dr.  After 2/10ths of a milt turn right onto Rick Lane.  Rick Lane turns into Florence Drive at the bottom of the street and 178 Florence Drive is on the left-hand side of the road.  See important parking information above due to the inability to control parking in the driveway.  You will be best to park on the road and walk up the driveway. 

            This home is extremely clean and orderly and the furniture is predominately oak and cherry in construction.   We ask that you enter the home through the garage leaving the front door as a means for leaving after checkout.  

            In furniture, we have a lovely oak entertainment center which could be used alternatively as two separate book shelving units with storage behind the lower drawers.   The center could easily be used as a kitchen item for placing a microwave oven and the top could shelves could hold cookbooks or décor items with plenty of storage below in this section also.   We also have another entertainment unit in the study room below which has been separated for other uses.   There are very nice neutral color upholstered furniture items for sale too.   There is a tan suede loveseat in the bar area in the lower level.   There are also a tan sofa and matching two cushion loveseat on the next level with one being in the study and the other being in the family room.   There is an ebony drop leaf occasional table in the study along with a rocking chair.   In desks, we have a nice cherry finish roll top desk with another roll top desk done in an oak finish.  Upstairs we have a more modern style computer desk for sale as well.   In bedroom furniture, we have three beds all without mattresses, but they do come with box springs in sizes from Queen and  Full, but the twin size bed does not have a box spring and only has the modern white headboard and frame set.   There is also matching dressers including a beautiful oak wardrobe and nightstands/end tables.   In the main living room, we have a matching oak end table, occasional/coffee table, and another golden oak oval table/stand.   We also have a beautiful antique straight-leg secretarial desk with drop down front and an adorable oak bistro style table in the kitchen. There are also two ebony finished Windsor style chairs.  Lastly, we have a beautiful oak corner hutch for sale in the dining area of the kitchen.  

            In electronics, there are several flat panel tv’s and personal stereo combination CD/Am-Fm Radio with cassette and Ipod stereo system too.  In appliances, we have two microwave ovens, refrigerator, working Dehumidifier, and a window A/C unit.   

            This home also has a limited selection of antique and primitive items and collectibles including two different cross cut two-man saws, an antique bow saw, several wooden pullies, baskets, Spongeware, Blue Striped and other crocks,  canning jars,  several lamps and lanterns including student style lamps, two table lamps that are designed from old camera tripods,  and a really cool table lamp that features a real parking meter base.   We also have some little league pins. 

            There is a nice selection of men’s clothing in Medium Sizes along with hunting apparel.  The hunting apparel also includes some great Woodrich Red Plaid clothing.   We will also be bringing in ladies clothing for your shopping pleasure! Last, but not least, lots and lots of costume jewelry at very low price. (Some of this jewelry does include elegant clip-on earrings)  

            In the garage there are all kinds of great tools and supplies to do your lawn and garden with. There is a Craftsman table saw, a small Craftsman band saw, and a 10” Craftsman Miter Saw in the original box.    We also have a new in the box Electric Power Washer.  We also have a gas-powered trimmer, lawnmower, and more!  There is shelving available in the garage and basement and you will also find a Huffy Bicycle, Box Lots,

            Out on the porch, we have a table with four chairs.  We also have another two matching chairs with ottomans style foot rests available in the basement.  In the basement is a redwood painted picnic table with two benches.   We also have a teeter style back board table for sale for a fraction of the cost of a new model.  In the backyard is a concrete table with three two man benches and an extra bench in that area.  We also have a concrete bird bath for sale.

            While we have not listed everything at this sale, we do have lots of photos available to show you what is at this sale for you to purchase.   We also have a number of box lots which were not photographed in the car port and ready to find a new home.   Hope to see you at this sale!   We are also trying to get Tracy with Simply Savor on the fly to bring her cookies and set up on Friday at our sale.  If you never tried her cookies, you will love them!
