Hi All!
Join us online as we pop up in Fairview for a 7-day online estate auction featuring a nice assortment of furnishings, decor, kitchenware package, electronics, a few tools and everyday household goods. The auction also features a 2017 Toyota Prius C with astonishingly low mileage. A great vehicle to have in this time of high fuel prices. This is a small but clean auction where everything needs re-homed by the next caretaker.
If you are on the hunt for a car that won't send you to the pumps every week or are looking to furnish a space in your home, short-term rental, cabin, cottage, apartment without re-mortgaging your home, there’s no better way than to participate in auctions and estate sales. It’s not only more affordable than buying new, but also sustainable, practical and currently on-trend.
The online auction is hosted at estatesales.net where you can get in on the bidding action. If you hadn't already done so, you'll need to sign-up for a simple account on estatesales.net to actively bid. Once you are in, you’ll be able to participate with ease on future auctions as well.
Sit back, relax and bid from the comfort of your own home on a great selection of offerings.
Have Fun!!
Important Sale Dates
-Online Auction Bidding
Saturday, April 25th- Saturday. May 2nd. Item bidding will start to close at 6pm on Saturday, May 2nd with the very last items up for auction ending at 7:00pm
Please pay attention to the countdown clock under each item of interest for accurate ending times.
-Preview/Inspection Day of Auction Offerings
Tuesday, April 28th 6-7pm
Please text/call Chris at 814-504-9532 to schedule a preview of any items of interest in this auction.
-Pick-Up Day
By appointment only on the following days:
-Monday, May 4th 2:00pm-5:00pm
-Tuesday, May 5th 10:00am-12:00pm
-An email with the pick-up address and scheduling link will be sent within 30 minutes of the auction closing on Saturday, May 2nd. You’ll be able to schedule a time-slot that fits your schedule. If these times do not work for you, please contact Chris at 814-504-9532.
-Auction Format
The online auction bidding is a "hard close" process , similar to Ebay, as opposed to a "soft close" process used by other online auction platforms, which extends the time if there is active bidding towards the end. There is no time extension using this particular platform. The bidding ends when the allotted time for each item expires, which is displayed under each item.
Also, entering a maximum "max" bid doesn't necessarily mean you will pay your maximum bid. The system will automatically keep bidding on your behalf against other bidders up to your placed "max" bid for convenience purposes.
-Bidding Example
You are bidding on a lamp and place a max bid of $58.00 towards the end of the auction. The auction ends on the item and you win the item for $39.00. This means the next highest bidder had a high bid of $38.00, however you were willing to go up to $58.00. Your maximum bid doesn’t automatically jump to that amount when you place the bid. The bid only is increased if there are other bidders actively bidding on the item. Your maximum bids are hidden from other bidders, essentially creating a level playing field. There’s definitely some fun strategy and gamesmanship as well.
An email will be sent at the conclusion of the sale by email to all winning bidders containing information about pick-up day.
