The Root Cellar Estate Sale Co. invites you to a Harborcreek estate filled with lake life, a serious woodworking shop, vintage finds, antiques and one of those wonderfully eclectic collections that makes an estate sale genuinely fun to explore.

One of the highlights is a Lund fishing boat with trailer, along with an extensive amount of fishing equipment from the late owner, who was a charter captain on Lake Erie. Years spent on the water are reflected throughout the collection, with fishing gear, tackle and equipment that should make this an especially interesting stop for Lake Erie anglers.

Then there’s the workshop, and it’s a good one! Quality woodworking machinery, specialty equipment, hand tools, shop supplies and a great selection of lumber and wood stock fill the space. Serious woodworkers, hobbyists and anyone who appreciates well-made tools will want to spend some time here.

Inside, things get even more eclectic: vintage and antique pieces, two antique duck decoys along with additional carved decoys, musical equipment including amps, blue-and-white china and transferware, pottery, glassware, vintage kitchenware, books, folk art, collectibles and interesting decorative pieces.

There’s plenty for the house and porch, too, including furniture, a beautiful cast-metal patio dining set, outdoor and garden pieces, household goods, kitchenware and practical everyday finds.

What makes this sale especially fun is the mix. A charter captain’s fishing gear, a woodworker’s shop, a Lake Erie boat, antiques, music, old decoys, vintage pieces and things we’re still discovering as we work our way through the house. It’s the kind of sale where you really do need to wander through every room, the garage and the workshop, because you never quite know what you’re going to find next!
