Welcome to Alighieri's Auction House and our esteemed fine jewelry consignment auction. Here, we present an exquisite selection of natural opals, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and other precious gemstones, meticulously set in platinum, gold, and sterling silver. Each piece from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci undergoes a thorough authentication process, including detailed inspections of material quality, craftsmanship, brand-specific traits, and serial numbers to verify authenticity. To ensure the accuracy of our descriptions and the integrity of our representations, all metals have been acid tested, and all gemstones evaluated using a Presidium Gem Tester II, UV Fluorescence, a polariscope, and a trinocular stereoscope at 90x magnification.

All items will be dispatched using Priority Mail Boxes, starting at $10.70, with an additional handling fee of $5.00 per lot and insurance based on the item's value. Please note that shipping costs will start at a minimum of $15.70. THE COST OF SHIPPING WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED ON YOUR CARD. YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SHIPPED 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. Ensure your shipping address on file with AuctionNinja is accurate, as we cannot change the address once the card has been charged. 

Your card on file with AuctionNinja will be automatically charged after the auction for lots you won. If the card is declined, you will have three days to resolve the payment.

For local pickup, please contact us within 3 business days after the auction ends to arrange collection. We will not have your winning lots if you do not contact us first.

All property sold in 'as-is' 'where-is' condition at the time of the auction, with all faults, including any hidden defects of any nature. Neither auctioneer or seller makes any representations, warranties or guarantees whatsoever, express or implied, regarding the nature, value, source, authenticity, fitness, merchantability, an/or other aspect or characteristics of such property. All sales are final with no refunds and no returns. Sales tax is for the purchase of items in Pennsylvania. All buyers pay Pennsylvania sales tax in addition to an 20% buyers premium added to the hammer price. Shippers. If you choose to ship Purchased Property from our facility, you are solely responsible for the shipment. We will, at your written direction, release your Purchased Property to a third-party shipper to pack and ship it. We will work with any shipper of your choosing. Please make sure your shipper carries insurance. We are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs while your objects are in another’s custody or care. If you choose a shipping method that we have advised against, we may require a waiver from you acknowledging this. For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be responsible for any damage or loss that occurs to a lot once we release it to a third-party shipper. Referred Shippers. We may, as a courtesy to you and solely at our discretion and your risk, provide or arrange packing, shipping, or similar logistical services, or refer you to third parties who specialize in these services. We may also refer you to shippers who provide quick quotes for packing and shipping upon your payment in full of the Purchase Price for the lot. Any such services referred, provided, or arranged by us are at your sole risk and expense; we assume no responsibility for any act or omission of any party in connection with any such service or reference, and we make no representations or warranties regarding such parties or their services. You expressly release Alighieri's from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party services.
