This online auction presents a remarkable offering from the estate of the legendary Allentown
resident, Dr. David Bausch, a renowned automobile and motoring collector. His lifelong passion
for early cars and transportation is reflected in this outstanding collection featuring antique and
vintage automotive treasures.

Included are numerous carriage and automotive oil lamps, with several converted into

functional electric lamps. Notable makers represented in the collection include Atwood, JNO W. Brown, Gray & Davis, Yankee, Solar, Castle Lamp Co., Neverout, Westchester, Pheobus, BRC, CM Hall, Badger, Jos Lucas LTD, E and J, Fyrac, Dietz, and many others. Collectors will also find early signal horns from Klaxon, Rubes, and additional classic makers.

The auction also features an extensive archive of early car manuals and ephemera, with
examples for Franklin, Ford Model T, GM, Chevrolet, and more. Included are catalogs, parts
lists, motoring guides, maps, and early travel-related paper that vividly document the golden age of the automobile.

Highlights of the collection include an exceptional selection of car mascots, radiator caps,
gauges, and hood ornaments. Among these are a rare 1924 Franklin Lion designed by Gleb
Derujinsky, a Lincoln greyhound, Pontiac Indian bust, multiple Boyce motometers, Mack Trucks
bulldogs, a Maxwell cap, a custom brass bulldog, Packard swan, 1931 Mathis eternal flame,
Peugeot lion, and many more.

Additional offerings include early hub cap covers, specialty tools, jacks, and rare parts that will
excite both serious collectors and automotive history enthusiasts. This auction provides a
unique opportunity to acquire pieces from one of the region’s most significant and well-curated
