Large Moving Sale in South Williamsport West Mountain Ave July 9-10

Our next sale is here! This sale will be held July 9-10 in South Williamsport at 1305 W. Mountain Ave. This sale is due to start on Thursday at 8:30am and will be held until 3pm. We will finish the sale on Friday with hours from 8:30am-2pm. We are not anticipating Saturday hours being necessary for this sale.

This sale includes a lifetime accumulation from a family in which the matriarch worked for a local gold smith for over 40 years. She was also a gemologist and made her own very beautiful jewelry. As a result, this sale will have a number of pottery pieces from Anne Meyer and other local artisans. She also will be selling a large amount of jewelry making supplies which we are selling as a lot. Also included in this sale is a very rare Bausch and Lomb Diamond Microscope, other jewelry testing, gem grading and study books on verifying and identifying gems and other jewelry items as well as weight scales for sale.We will also be selling a very large 16 place setting of Gorham Sterling Flatware in the Chantilly Pattern.There will be other sterling available for purchase too. Another item of interest for the collector is the Siam toy Rocking Elephant which is hand carved and made of wood.

In this sale we have several pieces of very nice furniture starting with a newer construction dry sink from weathered barn board wood and it is well-constructed and looks very primitive. There is a beautiful green marble top antique dresser in the main bedroom downstairs. We also have a nice primitive style tall cupboard for sale in the same room. We have several upholstered chairs including traditional and wingback styles, a more modern sleeper sofa, a very nice non-reclining La-Z-Boy sofa in a cream color and several tables and stands throughout the home. There are also several other dressers, book shelves, Night Stands, a Laminate-Top Dining Table, and other furniture items not mentioned. In outdoor furniture, we have a very good set of variegated metal furniture with pads including a table with 4 chairs and matching pieces too. We also have two twin beds available for sale in the bedroom upstairs. There are also several folding outdoor chair sets too. Be sure to check out the antique icebox in the basement too!It is a definite must for your vintage or antique kitchen.

We have some very nice lamps and lighting throughout the home with a very beautiful brass and tiffany style (with geometric design) lampshade in slag-glass. There is quite a few table lamps and floor lamps for sale throughout the home. There is also a basket full of prisms and crystals being sold as a lot at this sale.

Art includes prints an original watercolor, a David Armstrong Print (Pennsdale Meeting House), and an older oil on board from the 1800’s. We also have a photo from Terry Wild and other local artists’ work as well.

Toys are available in the upstairs bedroom with lots of puzzles, board games, kids furniture items, and more! There is also a radio flyer wagon and an old sled and saucer in the garage area.

This home has many unique and quality items for you to look through and it just doesn’t stop a what we have mentioned thus far. There are beautiful area rugs throughout the home for purchase too! There are quality wool and other rugs available for purchase with a Friday afternoon pickup. We also have a beautiful blown glass fruit collection to purchase.

In appliances, we do have a large interior air conditioning unit and we also have a very nice humidifier with remote control in the living room. There are several box fans for purchase at this sale too!

We have main basement area loaded with box lots and just about everything imaginable. There are some awesome collections including flamingo themed party and Christmas décor and other more traditional Christmas décor items too. There are older canning jars including colored canning jars to add to your collection.

In entertainment, we do have a 50 inch flat-panel, a Progressive Scan DVD, a Bose Wave Radio and other radios too. We also have a number of DVD’s and VHS movies for you to purchase at this sale.

In books we have a lot of local memorabilia and publications including yearbooks. We also have other collectible books such as the complete works of Charles Dickens, Funk and Wagonalls Encyclopedia from 1958 and a nice selection of cookbooks too!

We have linens of all kinds at this sale along with ladies clothing, we did bring in some nice men’s clothing to this sale too! We also have lady's shoes, coats, a large array of lady's fashion scarves, and much more for you to look at!

Plenty of things you will use every day or wish you had when you need them! We have cleaning supplies, paints, totes, storage trunks and hide-a-way furniture,

Outdoor items include a spreader, hand tools, hoses, rakes, shovels, and other gardening supplies are available in the garage. We also have lots of planters for sale at this sale too!
