POSH QUALITY ANTIQUES, ARTWORK, COLLECTIBLES LIVING ESTATE SALE ON N. ADGERS WHARF CHARLESTON

PROVENANCE:

This is the living estate sale for a highly educated, discerning and interesting individual. His mother's family arrived in the United States and specifically Gloucester County, VA from Ireland via Haiti in the mid-19th century. The family eventually ended up in Norfolk, VA. The gentleman's mother inherited many of the family's treasures which on closer inspection are very fine and have been beautifully kept. This is one of the few sales that POSH Estate Sales has done where more than 95% of the items are in pristine condition. The highlights of the sale are many but just to name a few includes:

POSH will not be doing pre-sales, however we are taking pre-offers. So if there is anything you would like to make an offer on please email the item description, your offer and your phone number to candacedaugh@gmail.com and offers will be held until the last day of the sale.

The home is small (1700+ sq. ft.) and the stairs into the home from N. Adgers Wharf Street are very steep, so entrance will be around the back off the alley. Parking is also going to be tough but there are paid parking near by and on street, just take note that much of the parking is restricted. Please read all parking signs so you do NOT incur a ticket or being towed.

DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE HOME, WE MAY LIMIT THE NUMBER IN THE HOUSE TO AVOID INJURY AND DAMAGE. 

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PACKING MATERIALS!

RULES OF THE SALE:

1. Cash or check with two id’s and one being a photo id only. CASH IS PREFERRED. All Checks are to be made out to Candace Daugherty

2. Remove the items the day of the sale and no later than Sunday before 2:00 PM* The Caveat: Because the furniture is hard to maneuver and the, WRUW Sales is arranging for a licensed, bonded and insured mover to be onsite on Sunday. This mover will be paid for by the buyer and will remove the items from the house and move to your home within a 25 mile radius. If your distance is more than that you must arrange your own professional mover to make the move.

3. All items are sold as-is and all sales are final

4. Neither POSH nor the owner is responsible or liable for any injury to your person or damage to your vehicle while at the sale or on the sale property.

5. While at the sale park as to not disrupt traffic and read all parking restrictions

6. The first to pay owns the item.

7. You own nothing until it is paid for, and you will be given a sold receipt and at that time the item(s) should be immediately removed from the house or location.

8. Once the items are paid for, they are your responsibility.

9. If you break, dent or damage anything you will pay the marked price, so please ask for assistance.

10. No children under 16, no exceptions

11. Be patient with those working the sale

12. Bring your own packing boxes, bags and totes to remove your items from the sale and all of these will be inspected prior to leaving the sale

13. Do not change prices or remove price stickers

14. If we feel that your attendance is disruptive or harmful to those around you or to the property you will be asked to leave.

15. NO POLITICS PLEASE
