SALE HIGHLIGHTS

Seven Seas will conduct a Hybrid Estate Sale over the weekend of Oct 3-4, to liquidate the contents of an Attic Dealer’s Home in Rockford, TN.  The sale includes this 305 Lot Online Auction AND a Massive and Fascinating Tag Sale in the home, too.  Access to preview and tag sale days is by appointment.

THE ONLINE AUCTION INCLUDES:  A Wealth of Exceptional Antique Furniture, Art, Collectibles, Toys, Quilts, Civil War Artifacts, Victorian Hair Ornaments, Face Jugs!  The Fine Antique Furniture is overall much older than we typically see with fabulous board widths, massive sizes and more unique features and carvings than we’ve seen locally lately.

How did these all come together?  Our Clients, the Paddleford family, owned Kingston Pike Antique Mall for 25 years, moved to a shop in Clinton, and ran booths for another 13 years at Foothills View Antique Mall in Maryville.  They have moved out of state yet left this outstanding selection in our hands for liquidation.  Many items were stored for years and still have old store tags on them.

Furniture includes several REALLY LARGE Victorian Masterpieces like the Bookcase, Empire Burl Chest & Rolltop Desk with Burl Barrel Roll; Enormous China Hutch. We also have 2 Empire Pier Tables; Walnut Blanket Chest with HUGE Boards; Canonball Rope Bed with Rope Trundle underneath! There’s a Platform Rocker; Jenny Lind Bench; Spinning Wheel; Walnut Chest with Bookshelf; Gorgeous Desk;  Unique Gate Leg & Fold Top Tables; Pie Saves; Child’s Furniture; and more! There’s also several Faux Fireplace Heaters and a Portable Whole-Room AC Unit.
Other highlights include Enormous Collection of Steiff Toys in all ages, including a huge Circus Car arrangement, with all creatures and boxes.  There is a mix of Antique Toys, and 3 dozen Antique Handmade Quilts with some Really Unique Ones among them (and more in the Tag Sale!)  Civil War Artifacts include Bullet Molds, Medical Devices, Canon Gimlets, Smoking & Vanity Items and more.  There are several lots of cool Tramp Art as Boxes and in Frames.  Art Covers Every Wall, with Great Selections in the Auction (and many many more Tagged!) The Freaky Animatronic Window Display Woodland Animals from the 1960’s area definitely worth noting, along with the several Victorian Photo Albums, Victorian Hair Memorials in Shadowbox Frames and the Victorian Love Bird Pairs, Framed under Convex Glass.  There’s a whole Multi-year Collection of Peg Henderson Face Jugs, plus many Crocks, , Jugs and Primitives.

There’s a hoard Vintage Veterinarian Medicines and Devices as well as cool books on the subject.  Glassware, Tins, Flow Blue & Crocks are all abundant, mixed with Framed Art, Paper Goods, Photos & Old Post Cards, Small Tables & Chairs, Shelves and much much more!  Please see the  Tag Sale Photos & Video as the volume and variety of Tag was toooo big to list!
