This sale is very Austin.

We’re in the home of an architect and an interior designer, and everything has a point of view. Great books (a lot of them), really beautiful rugs, original art, and pieces that were collected over time, not just bought to fill a space.

We’ve got two pieces by Lance Letscher, an Austin artist known for his layered collage work. If you’re into local art, this is a cool one to see in person.

There’s also a strong sailing thread throughout the house—the dad was an avid sailor, and we’re actually featuring sails from his collection, which is not something you come across every day.

The house sits right on Shoal Creek, and the whole sale just has that laid-back, artsy, old Austin feel.

If you like design, texture, and things that feel a little different, this one’s worth a stop.
