This 20,000+ sq. ft. three story English Country Manor - style estate, on over an acre in prime Highland Park, was the final residential masterpiece of legendary classicist Cole Smith. Every material was specified to historic museum-quality standards. Sherry Hayslip Interiors collaborated on the interiors of the project.

Millwork, doors, hardware and lighting (with few exceptions) were designed and/or produced by Cole Smith through Whitesmith &. Company, the firm he cofounded with founded with Sherry Haslip. These items are not ordinary salvage, they are fine examples of the craftsmanship of one of America's leading classicist architects.

The Sale will be conducted over multiple stages:

Phase 1 of the sale includes most interior items and you will may immediately purchase and schedule removal. We understand there are too many items to view and consider in a single 2-day sale so Phase 1 of the sale is ongoing and will take place over two or more separate weekends as well as through subsequent scheduled appointments. Some items in the basement and 3rd floor mechanical areas will not be available for viewing, unless by appointment, and will be part of the second phase. There will be no "scheduled" reductions like a typical estate sale, so if you see it and think it's a fair price, buy it. There is no "50% off day".

Phase 2 of the sale will be scheduled once we have a definitive demolition date and will include all mechanical and outdoor items
