• Addy was born into slavery.  She had a table and chairs and other things.
• Kaya (Nez Perce) has a deerskin outfit, dog, and a teepee.  She escaped from kidnappers.
• Melody has a recording studio with tiny reels and a guitar.  She was a ten year old MoTown singer.
• One had polio and has a wheelchair.
• Samantha's gazebo is still unopened in the box.
• many of the dolls are unnamed.  You can make your own history.
