This estate sale presents a rare opportunity to acquire original works by Amanda Ingram Crisp, a beloved Texas artist with deep roots in Paris, Texas. Born and raised in Paris, Amanda pursued her passion for art formally, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas. She spent the majority of her adult life in Garland, Texas, before returning to Paris in her retirement years, where she passed away.

Her diverse body of work reflects both academic artistic foundation and a deeply personal creative voice. Amanda's paintings move fluidly between bold geometric abstraction and expressive organic abstracts that pulse with color and movement.

Equally at home in representational work, Amanda painted with skill and warmth — from a masterfully rendered interpretation of a classic Impressionist figure study to intimate still lifes and figurative portraits that capture quiet domestic moments with tenderness and care.

The collection also includes small-format geometric works on panel, abstract close-up studies, and mixed wall groupings that together reveal an artist of genuine curiosity and range — one equally drawn to the precision of hard-edged abstraction and the freedom of expressive, gestural painting.
