This is now going to be a two-part sale!
We are honored to host an estate sale in the home of the late Betty Ann Matthies, longtime Seguin resident whose life was marked by service, leadership, and deep care for her community.
This sale takes place in her charming Seguin home and reflects the many chapters of a well-lived life. Inside, you will find a thoughtful collection of items gathered over decades, including Seguin and Texas artifacts, nursing materials from her early career, memorabilia from her time in public service, antique and vintage ephemera, books and magazines, photography equipment, sewing items, kitchenware, barware, jewelry, clothing, handbags, and more.
Each piece tells a story, offering a quiet glimpse into the personal and professional journey of someone who gave much to the community she called home.
It is a privilege to be entrusted with this sale, and we hope you’ll join us Jan 29-31 for part one!

Why are you limiting early online sign-ups to 50 people?
We’ve found that when early sign-ups are unlimited, a large percentage of people reserve a spot but don’t attend. This creates long lists that don’t accurately reflect how many shoppers are actually coming.
When shoppers see 150–200 names on a list, it can discourage them from attending because they assume they’ll face a long wait — even when that isn’t the case.
Limiting early entry to 50 confirmed shoppers keeps things accurate, fair, and welcoming for everyone.
Why are you charging a $5 early sign-up fee?
The $5 fee helps ensure that the shoppers reserving early spots genuinely plan to attend.
This is not an extra charge — it is a credit.
Your $5 will be applied toward your purchase at checkout.
If you make a purchase, you get that $5 right back.
This small commitment simply helps us reduce no-shows and keep the early list meaningful.
What if I don’t get one of the 50 early spots?
You can absolutely still attend the sale!
Early sign-ups are simply an option for shoppers who want guaranteed early placement in line. Once those 50 spots are filled, we will continue with in-person sign-ups on the morning of the sale.
We welcome everyone.
Will you still offer in-person sign-ups?
Yes.
After the 50 early online spots are filled, shoppers may sign up in person at the property on the morning of the sale. This process will work the same way our sales have always worked.
Do I have to sign up early to shop?
Not at all.
Early sign-up is optional. You are always welcome to come shop during sale hours.
What happens if I reserve a spot but don’t show up?
Because your $5 fee is a purchase credit, it is non-refundable if you do not attend or do not make a purchase.
This policy helps us keep early sign-ups fair and accurate for serious shoppers.
Why is Soulshine making this change?
