A little bit of everything is here, including a small selection of popular movie soundtracks. Artists include: Pearl Jam, Dixie Chicks, Bob Marley, Alice in Chains, and many more.
BOOKS AND NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES
We have a treasure for the true collector of old books and famous signatures - a book where Humphrey Bogart signed his autograph. Several have researched the likeness of examples of his signature and it appears to be his signature. It is in a book -The Story of the Church, copyright 1935.
The books for sale include a selection of history, military & Texana, which includes a few gems for history lovers! You will want to take time to look at this interesting collection.
The bulk of the collection is comprised of early hardcover, book club edition fiction. Many of these book club editions were never published in any other form of hardcover, and may be considered first editions. Some still have the dust jackets, which have amazing artwork.
For Louis L'Amour lovers, there's a whole shelf of leather bound books, in really nice condition. If you're a fan of early paperback history books, there's a small selection of those too, plus a smattering of other genres as well. We also have a collection of Gold Books and other children’s books. There aren't a whole lot of religious books, but there is a small basket of vintage Catholic prayer cards with wonderful graphics, that were generally published by funeral homes.
The Temple Daily Telegram newspapers date back to WW11 announcing Rosevelt’s death and headlines for the end of the war.
