1.FIREARMS:
I understand that all firearms bought at A&S Auction, must be thoroughly inspected by a professional gunsmith to determine caliber and condition of the firearm, prior to firing. By registering to bid at this auction I agree with and understand all the terms and conditions stated above. We will not transfer to a Curio & Relic license (C&R) NO EXCEPTIONS. We will only ship modern firearms to a FFL holder.
2. All persons attending the exhibition, sale, or removal of merchandise assume all risks of damage to person or property and specifically release and indemnify A&S Auction from any liability.
3. All property is sold AS IS, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder?s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. A&S Auction may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall A&S Auction be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
4. All internet Bidders agree to pay an internet premium equal to 15% of the hammer price of each item they purchase.
5. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and
acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder?s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. A&S Auction shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. A&S Auction will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase for any reason.
6. A&S Auction is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against A&S Auction or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. A&S Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. A&S Auction reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
7. The auctioneer shall advance the bidding at his own discretion. A&S Auction may
withdraw any item before or during the auction. Should a tie or a dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneer may, at his discretion, reopen the bidding until the property is sold. The record of the auction made by A&S Auction shall be conclusive.
8. When the auctioneer says ?sold? Bidder assumes full responsibility for the merchandise. Everything MUST be paid for in full at the conclusion of the auction. Payment shall be made in by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Unless exempted by law, the purchaser shall pay any and all applicable taxes. Bidder agrees to indemnify A&S Auction against any claim if sales tax is not collected on Bidder?s purchases. Bidder agrees to not stop payment on any check paid to A&S Auction. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card.
9. Packing and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and may be quoted before shipping. All items will be insured for the purchase price. Our first priority is to deliver your new purchase in excellent condition. Any merchandise not removed by bidder may be resold at the next auction or disposed of in any other way A&S Auction deems to be suitable.
10. A&S Auction may refuse a buyer?s number to anyone for any reason. Bidder agrees to provide any identification A&S Auction may request including but not limited to: drivers license, photocopies of credit cards, Social Security card or Passport. Bidder agrees to comply with any stated additional terms or conditions associated with particular items.
11. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you have questions about the merchandise the time to ask questions is well in advance of the live auction. No returns are allowed. Thank you for your patronage.

The Late C.W. & Marie Lyle Estate Collection. C.W. Lyle, 1926-2009, was born in Seagraves, TX. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He served in the United States Navy, owned Lyle?s Exxon in Fort Worth, TX. was a licensed pilot and owned his own Cessna 182 Skylane. C.W. was known across the country as being one of the Unique Collectors of the Old west. You can find many of his collectibles in books such as ?Cowboys & the Trappings of the Old West?, ?Cowboy Culture?, ?Packing Iron? and many others. Marie Lyle, 1935-2024, was born in Oak Cliff, Tx. She was an Eastern Star, played with the Dallas Orchestra, earned a musical degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, played Church Piano all her life until she was approximately 70 years old. Marie & C.W. loved going to auctions, collecting antiques. They had one of the finest collections of antiques that will be featured in this auction. The Late Joe & Billie Brownfield Estate Collection. Joe, 1924-2017, & Billie, 1926-2020, Brownfield: A Legacy of Service, Vision and Generosity. Joe was a man of extraordinary dedication to his country, his craft and his community. He served as a proud Marine from 1942-1945, during WWII. He married the love of his life, Billie in 1946. They built not only a life but a lasting legacy in Waco, Tx. Joe founded Waco Construction Co. in 1953, launching a general contracting career that would span over five decades and would reshape the architectural landscape of Texas. His firm left its mark across the nation, but Joe?s heart remained in Waco- most notably with Baylor University. His portfolio includes some of the region?s most iconic buildings: Roxy Grove Hall, the Moody Library, Getterman Stadium, Baylor Law School, and the Baylor Science Building, to name only a few. His leadership was recognized on a state and national level, culminating in his designation as a National Life Director of the Associated General Contractors of America.
