Bidding & Payment
All bids are binding. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder.
An 18% buyer’s premium will be added to the final hammer price.
Virginia sales tax (5.3%) applies to the total (hammer price + buyer’s premium).
Payment is due at pickup.

Item Condition
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no guarantees or warranties.
Descriptions and photos are provided for guidance, but it is the bidder’s responsibility to review all details before bidding.

No Early Sales or Pricing
We do not provide prices, accept offers, or sell items prior to the auction. All items sell to the highest bidder.

Pickup
Local pickup only in Palmyra, VA. No shipping is offered.
Pickup dates and times will be listed for each auction and must be followed.

Failure to Pick Up
Items not picked up during the scheduled pickup window may be considered abandoned.
No refunds will be issued for items not collected.

Auction Closing
This is a timed auction with a soft close. If a bid is placed near the closing time, the lot may be extended to allow additional bidding.

Platform & Technical Issues
Rivanna Auction Co. is not responsible for missed bids due to internet or platform issues. We reserve the right to pause, extend, or reschedule an auction if necessary.
