We are honored to bring you this amazing estate from "Little Washington" Virginia, which is only 60 minutes from Fairfax. This sale is FILLED with exciting and valuable items that will have people talking about it for years to come. Megan Smith, half of the famed music duo "The Smith Sisters", was on stage with Country Music legends all over the US and even performed in Russia. Also, an acclaimed film maker and talented artisan, she has traveled the world and collected Fine Art, Persian Rugs, Historical & Political artifacts and an extensive collection of Fabulous and Important Folk Art pieces. The very important Historical & Political artifacts come by the way of her deceased husband, W. Proctor Jones, a U.S. Senate staffer of 35 years. Some of these items include a signed JFK Warren report by Senate Committee, a bore of marble from the US Capitol, a Colt 38 Banker's Special that belonged to Senator Richard Russell and much more.

Her massive fine art and folk art collection includes (5) very rare and sought after Alexander Bogardy original oil paintings, (2) Norman Scott "Butch" Quinn paintings, (3) Nadia Werbitzky, Impressive painting by Lucie Cousturier (1870-1925), and other paintings and artwork by Dennis Burlingame, Fred Kahler, Nicole Gourdon, an antique Renaissance Period Masterpiece from Paris, amongst many others.

Pick Up Time:  10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22nd only.  No other pickup times or locations are available.  

We ask you please schedule a pick-up time to avoid wait times.  You may schedule a pickup by going into My Account > Invoices > Schedule Pickup Appointment. 

Shipping is ONLY available for smaller items that will fit into a USPS flat rate shipping box.  There is a minimum $15.00 handling fee per box, plus actual shipping charges. Please contact us BEFORE the auction ends to ensure your item(s) can be shipped. 

TERMS OF THIS SALE 

1. All purchased items must be removed unless otherwise noted in the lot description. 

2. All items unsold remain the property of the Seller.

3. Bring adequate, able-bodied help to remove heavy furniture from the house. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting your purchase without refund.

4. Everything in this sale is located on two different levels as well as outside, in a cellar, and in a barn. 

5. Bring bags, boxes, and packing materials for fragile and multiple item lots.

6. All items not retrieved and REMOVED from the property by 3:00 p.m. on November 22nd, are considered abandoned and will not qualify for refunds or alternate pick-ups. Additionally, bidder will be subject to a disposal / removal fee of not less than $25.00.
