Description & Details

Our client was an avid Native American Mimbres Indian researcher. The Mimbres Indians lived in New Mexico up until 1500 AD. All their artifacts - bowls, tools, pottery shards, spear points, arrowheads and fetishes were from a legal excavation

site on a private ranch. Our client owned a rock shop and traded custom made jewelry for the Indian artifacts. The rock shop also sold rock specimens. The turquoise is from the Tyronne Copper Mine in NM. The rough, untreated turquoise was bought and made in cabochons by the rock shop. The Tyronne mine is closed now. The turquoise is rare, valuable and no longer available.
