One of My Favorite Sales Ever - PART TWO - Sale in Mt. Vista!

Here it is! Part two of our "if Cargo was an estate sale" - aka - "one of my favorite estate sales"!

Yes, this was supposed to be last weekend - but at the family's request... we had to hold off one week.

Is it going to be worth it? I'd say a resounding -YES!!

I swear that this sale is even FULLER than the last. AND we've got 4 more spaces - filled with more treasures!

I can honestly say - this time we've got something for EVERYONE.

BUSINESS FIRST:

There will be a list outside at 9am. You will need to add your name (ONE name per number, please). We will line folks up at 9:45am and let in as many as will safely and comfortably fit in the home. IF the home becomes too full, we will have to resort to one in, for every one out. We only have one register this sale, but we will be working quickly to move everyone along.

- There will be some cones directly in front of the home, as well as the private driveway (neighbors) and the home driveway. No parking is allowed where these cones are.

- Parking on the street (at least I know the East side) is ok. There is more street parking on the side streets. Just don't block neighboring driveways or mailboxes.

So, what's here this time?
Well - we saved SOME of what was left from last time and added all FRESH finds from the rooms we had locked up before. And we found some goodies...

LIVING ROOM:

Need a copper bowl? Need 50? We've got those!! Brass bowls, trays, cups and huge vases too. Brass figures, camel stirrups, and candle holders. Speaking of copper - check out those INCREDIBLE copper clad chairs!! There is also a matching clad pedestal accent table - you'll never see these again! Fresh art, mirrors, rugs... lamps. Standing brass art easel, small upholstered ottoman/stools, gorgeous carved teak hall/sofa table, beautifully carved Savonarola chair from Pakistan (discounted), Asian decor, large faux red leather ottoman, leather pillows, old books, large bags of carved animals, cabinet full of blue and white - Churchill and more...

There will also be a basket of fresh jewelry! Some really great pieces that we didn't have out before.

Oh... and OMG - let's talk about the GIANT pile of Middle Eastern pillow covers! SO many and in several different sizes! From subdued to super bright colors - these are really amazing!

KITCHEN/DINING:

SO FULL. I mean - crazy full. We still have that nice dining room table and chairs (discounted!) - but now it's topped with new finds! Copper, pottery, dishes, glassware, serving pieces, pasta rollers, enameled cast iron - all with an Italian flair! We brought in a big industrial shelf and packed it with china, Bauer mixing bowls, hurricane lamps, practical AND pretty... Chicken and farm decor, glassware, and more in the dining room.

In the kitchen - even more packed - you'll find countertops covered glassware, dishes, cast iron (lots of Lodge), really nice teak wine rack, more china, silver plate serving pieces, pottery, crockery, wood, Corningware, baking supplies, lots more enameled cast iron, many items NIB.  Another Lodge freestanding shelf (was NIB - but we needed it out to display the huge collection of cast iron!)  Pyrex storage (was all NIB - we still have some that we didn't unpack), Mason Cash mixing bowls, green glass mason jars, lots of storage/serving items and a small pantry FULL of practical and fun kitchen items!!

MASTER BEDROOM:

We've still got that STUNNING carved four poster bed!! And now there are a couple of canopies that you could get to go with it! Fresh clothing, shoes and purses! Black Ikea Kallax shelf full of purses, hats, furs and decor. That amazing teak art nouveau style mirror! Baskets of scarves, gloves, bags. Two antique trunks - top one packed with purses. SO MANY shoes NIB - mostly size 8. Clothing (very little saved from last time) mostly size S/M. Modern media cabinet and small teak chest saved from the last sale - now marked down!

BEDROOM 2:

We still have that gorgeous bed from the last sale - starting at HALF OFF! Now it's topped with vintage linens! White wingback chair, vintage baby/children's clothing, some vintage women's clothing hanging on the wall,  closet full of gently used linens, cute vintage dresser with mid-century glass, perfume and decor. Really nice "fancy" scarves hang from the door.

CRAFT ROOM:

SO MUCH YARN! Vintage Singer sewing machines, crochet and knitting supplies, cute rustic/vintage table, 2 bookcases full of books - craft and vintage books (these aren't the ones from the last sale!) Project arts and crafts style rocking chair, nice waterfall style desk, decor, baskets and MUCH more!

Hall closet loaded up with new and gently used linens...

DOWNSTAIRS (home is a split level)

LAUNDRY ROOM: (was closed off before)

So much in such a small space! Rack full of NIB items, baskets, pillows and rugs. Nice treadmill and smaller exercise bike. Table FULL of New and gently used linens, lots of other household decor and supplies.

SPRING ROOM: (was also closed off before)

White and off white wicker chairs, loveseat and table. Lots of really sweet decor - bunnies, bears, stuffies, glass, china, lots of Easter - I know it just happened - but it WILL be back!

BATHROOM:

Some leftover from last time, but lots of fresh items too! Soaps, towels, teak shower seats, bath and hygiene items, some decor as well!

HOLIDAY ROOM:

We have got SO much Christmas stuff!! And we still have that gorgeous metal and marble dining table - now half off!

And we've added a really nice warm ivory accent chair, as well as an Ekornes loveseat. (we have two!)

So many Christmas styles!  In great condition and some NIB! Hallmark Keepsake ornaments and dishes, Snoopy (Peanuts), Starbucks, HUGE nutcracker, rustic Christmas, black and deep red dishes, fancy glass ornaments, boxed ornaments, mercury glass trees, bagged ornaments - by style, snowmen,  Santas, pile of Vermont teddy bears - really nice!, gnomes, Hallmark wooden nutcrackers NIB, salt and peppers, cookie plates, red glass dish set, serving pieces, stockings, Fitz and Floyd, Debbie Mum dish sets, candles, mugs, linens, Nativity sets NIB, Old World Santas, lots of Christmas decor.

And it's not just Christmas. We have Thanksgiving/Fall and Halloween items as well! Hallmark, glass pumpkins and MORE!

FAMILY ROOM:

We still have that beautiful bamboo print sofa and matching chairs - now half off! We've added a metal and glass coffee table and matching end tables, another  Ekornes love seat, lots more pillows, decor, glass ware, dishes - including Lenox "Poppies On Blue" place settings, tea sets, candles galore, carved teak media center and lots of misc.

STORAGE ROOM: (previously closed off)

Bins of fabric, pillows, stuffies, doll furniture, light fixtures - including Quoizel, brand new shoe organizers in box.  Christmas wrapping and more...

"FANCY ROOM":

It's back! I've personally marked down all of the items that we kept from the last sale (Overland coats and shoes, Patricia Nash purses and others, Liberty Black shoes- AND we've added a few more goodies! Including the hot pink Christmas tree, NexStar telescope.. AND more jewelry!
This time we have some REALLY nice watches - Citizen, Rotary, Bulova, Seiko - some 14k. A few other surprises as well! (note: jewelry and other valuables are NOT at the house. They will come in with me Saturday am.)

GARAGE: (off kitchen - upstairs)

This room was also closed off during our last sale. And it is FULL!! Piles of more copper and brass! Kitchen overflow - some NIB, appliances/bakeware/cookware, windchimes, dishes and glassware, decor, backpacks, camping gear, household maintenance supplies, gardening gear and tools, electronics, shopvac with blower, misc. tables and chairs, oak dining set, antique dresser with mirror (needs work), canning jars - many NIB, upright freezer with key, cd's/cassettes/dvds, Maisto collectible cars...

This room is full of mystique. You are bound to find something cool out there! To quote one of our employees - "it's the kind of room you might expect to find a Mogwai for sale in." - and you just might! (our 80's kids will know that Gremlins reference!)

This sale is FANTASTIC! It is so full and so exciting! I don't even personally know everything we have in this house... it's just LAYERED with treasures!

What's the discount? Most items left over from the last sale are starting out at HALF off. Some have been marked down more than that, some a little less than half - you'll see when  you get there!
