All property offered and sold by HAVN Auctions is sold as agent for the Consignor and is subject to the following terms. By participating in the auction, whether in person, online, absentee, or through a third-party platform, bidders agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale.

1. As-Is / Final Sale
All items are sold AS-IS. All sales are final. No returns, no refunds, no exceptions.
Property is sold to the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer. The auctioneer may reject any bid, reopen bidding, or withdraw any lot and reoffer it at a later time.
Catalog descriptions, condition reports, photographs, or other statements are for guidance only and do not constitute warranties. Absence of a condition report does not imply perfect condition.
Buyers have 15 days after the auction to notify HAVN Auctions of any gross misrepresentation. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.

2. Bidder Responsibility
Bidders are responsible for verifying age, size, condition, description, provenance, and value of any lot before placing a bid.
HAVN Auctions provides item information as a courtesy and does not guarantee accuracy or completeness.
Bidders are fully liable for all bids. Errors, failure to complete purchases, or disputes may result in corrective action, including suspension of bidding privileges or collection measures.

3. Auctioneer Discretion
HAVN Auctions and its auctioneers have full discretion to:
Determine the winning bidder
Resolve disputes
Set or adjust bidding increments
Accept or reject any bid
Postpone, cancel, or reoffer an auction or lot
Tie bids, irregular bidding, or technical issues will be resolved at the auctioneer?s sole discretion.

4. Auction Errors
HAVN Auctions reserves the right to cancel or adjust a sale in cases including but not limited to:
Lot(s) unavailable or failing quality control
Sale below reserve price
Clerical, catalog, or description errors
Technical or system malfunctions
Suspected fraud or bidding misconduct

5. Withdrawal
HAVN Auctions may withdraw any lot at any time before bidding begins without liability.

6. Buyer?s Premium & Payment
A 28% buyer?s premium applies to all lots. A 3% discount may apply for cash, wire transfer, or approved check.
Payment is due within 3 business days of invoice. Accepted methods: cash, wire transfer, ACH, approved check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
HAVN Auctions reserves the right to require guaranteed funds for large purchases. Unpaid accounts may be subject to legal or collection action.

7. Taxes
Applicable Washington State sales tax will be added unless a valid resale or tax exemption certificate is provided.
Online platform purchases may also be subject to marketplace tax rules.

8. Removal & Shipping
Buyers must remove lots within 10 business days unless otherwise arranged.
Shipping is at the buyer?s expense. HAVN Auctions provides a list of recommended shippers but is not responsible for loss, damage, or breakage during transit.

9. Limitation of Liability
HAVN Auctions? liability is limited to the amount paid by the buyer. HAVN Auctions shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. All participants consent to the jurisdiction of courts located in Seattle, Washington.

Highlights include furniture by Eames, Wegner, Jacobsen, and Juhl, alongside bold sculptural lighting, Pacific Northwest ceramics, and collectible works by Seattle-based artists—reflecting the region’s vibrant design and craft legacy.

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the sale also highlights pioneering designers including Ray Eames, Florence Knoll, Gae Aulenti, and ceramic innovator Marguerite Wildenhain.

Bidding: In-house and online absentee bids are accepted prior to the live auction.
