In Tacoma’s Historic North End, we welcome you to the 1889 Geiger House. This Eastlake-style residence was at the center of political, civic, social and suffragist activity in Tacoma's early years and then, a century later, the subject of numerous articles and videos as its Restoration and Renaissance inspired the preservation of many other Historic Homes in Tacoma. Three floors up a winding staircase, with treasures to be discovered around every corner…

Featuring antique and vintage furniture: barrister's stacking bookcases, an impressive Italian burled wood cabinet, marble-topped tables and chests, curved glass china cabinets, an impressive European carved sideboard, a tall faux-finish entry mirror with cherub head crest, Victorian carved beds, velvet-upholstered settees and chairs, stately court chairs, a rare washstand from a sailing ship and more. Lighting: antique and vintage table and floor lamps plus an unusual brass mirror mounted with oil lamps, plus a figurative lamp from the 1915 Pan Pacific Exposition in San Francisco. Art spanning the decades: original paintings including an impressive marine scene by Pierre-Emile Berthelemy (1818-1890), prints (Victorian, Parrish, Fox, Bennett, Munoz, vintage Chinese advertising art, and others), a large bronze Native American triptych statue, historic photographs (including panoramics). Books of all genres with an emphasis on Northwest history and children's literature, plus boxes and boxes of ephemera. Vintage radios and clocks, a particular passion of the owner.
