Manuel and Michele both passed away last year and they leave an estate of great importance.  Manuel, born in Guatemala, was an avid reader and scholar.  He was the senior Mathematician at the Kohler Co., traveled to Morocco, Taiwan, Japan, Russia, India and China many times.  Michele was a talented artist in painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpting.  Her appreciation for other artists and all art forms is evident in her home.

THE MAIN FLOOR:  Floor standing Folk Art figure of George Washington …Small oil painting by Sheboygan artist Dale Knaak…Several Wisconsin artists paintings in this and other areas of the home…Presidential sets of books…Several carved birds on stands…Wood book podium with shelves…Long wood bench…Wood cubicle unit for treasures…3’ tall floor standing wooden carved wild turkey…Paintings by Michelle Gutierrez and other artists cover the walls throughout this sale…Wall hung sailboat made out of sticks…Frog pottery vase…JEWELRY is in this room, colorful beads from many countries, a large selection of Sterling rings and things made by many artists, watches, pins and bracelets…Metal work made by artists….Much more.

THE ART ROOM:  Off the living room is a room filled with art related books, coffee table books, books on Shakespeare and poetry, teaching books, a section of flowers and all things artistic.  We also have 4 Antique barrel chairs from the state capital of Illinois that are a true treasure and very old. There is also a round table, metal base and 4 metal chairs.  In the corner is our Styrofoam figure…So much more, if you love art or books, welcome to Heaven

THE KITCHEN:  Nice chicken art on the walls…Super nice cookbooks…Pottery tea pots…Small kitchen but it’s filled to capacity.

UPSTAIRS:  Wood queen size bed frame from WG&R, bookcase headboard and 4 large drawers underneath for storage…1930’s cedar chest…Vintage pine dresser and vanity…Closet of vintage clothes and things with an international flare…OFFICE AREA room has seven filled bookcases…Political books focus on Reagan and War presidents…Old oak library table…Men’s clothing, large size and Allen Edmond shoes…Wood boxes and office items…THE CHILDREN’S ROOM is so charming.
