No upfront costs
- We are paid solely from commission of what we sell at your sale, not a penny more. No fees are due upon signing.
Discretion
- Our clients often value privacy and tact. We have the capability to host sales offsite if you prefer (meaning buyers never find out who you are or where you live).
We’ll take it all
- Though we value quality, we are not nearly as picky as your average old-school estate sale company or luxury consignment store. As the old adage goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure". No job is too complicated or too simple.
Fast
- If you need this done quickly, we can do it. We've successfully taken on major sales with <7 days notice of the event starting. We have a great team that can work rapidly and correctly.
How the process works
I. You schedule a free, quick, and no obligation consultation. This will be a quick call, FaceTime, or in-person in some cases. If you decide to move forward, we will then both sign a contract and pick dates that your sale will be hosted on (for clients with small collections, your items will immediately be sold via our private network and our quarterly in-person sale where all of our smaller collections are on display).
II. You choose rather to host the sale at home or offsite.
III. We price, hang, sort, and display your collection. We start advertising your collection across our private network and numerous websites. Our current highest record is ~75 early bird buyers lining up ahead of time to shop a sale!
IV. We host the sale (usually lasts 2-3 days).
V. What happens with leftover items? Items that we believe we can privately sell are held onto. Items that we do not believe we can sell are donated with your permission to The Drake Closet and St. Vincent's De Paul, (and we get a tax deductible slip in your name for the estimated value of your items), or items are left/delivered back to your home (whichever you prefer). We can also arrange for a large dumpster or junk removal company to come onsite as well.
VI. We pay you! Payment happens through Venmo, Zelle, or check (whichever you prefer). Your payment and an itemized spreadsheet from the sale will be delivered within 48 hours of the sale closing.
