I found Karen to be a consummate professional. She was very energetic and enthusiastic, outgoing, easy
to talk to and deal with (quite accommodating) and she did what she said she would do. She offered her
honest opinion based on her expertise and I felt that she was truly working in our family’s overall long
term best interest. I especially appreciated the fact that she was brutally honest – particularly
concerning any price minimums that we put on the more prominent pieces, warning “… it probably
won’t sell for that – so you may be taking it back home with you after the sale”. The neighbors have told
me that our sale was very well attended and they think Karen did a fantastic job of managing all the car
and human traffic without any major incidents occurring. Several of the neighbors attended the onsite
sale and said that Karen was very pleasant and made them feel like they were the most important
person there (VIP treatment). I feel that the sale results were most impressive; especially considering
that the sale had to use Covid-19 pandemic protocols – mask wearing, social distancing and few-at-a-
time shoppers allowed in. Karen started with a massive amount of ‘smalls’ and tons of clothing with a
fair volume of furniture (mostly mid-century modern or Antique) sprinkled in. By the end of the sale not
very much was left – very little furniture, not much of the ‘smalls’, and some clothing (less than 50%
remained). True to her word, Karen had her Wholesaler come by at the very end and make us an offer
to ‘clear out the house completely’. In my opinion, Karen’s combination of an online sale and an onsite
‘physical’ sale is fantastic. I very highly recommend Karen and her team and I personally intend to work

I was very overwhelmed in dealing with my mother's estate and worried that no one would come to an estate sale at her remote location. I had already been rejected by one company due to the location, but fortunately, after speaking to Karen, of Fecit Antiques and Estates, I was relieved that she was so willing to come out and conduct our estate sale.
Karen and her crew worked very diligently before the sale to set everything up and once they had everything on display in the house before the sale, I was very impressed.
Also, my mother had a lot, I mean lots of stuff, so again, much of it in boxes and they willingly went through and priced and sorted everything, and seemed very organized.
I was thrilled at the turnout and probably over a 100 people or more came out that first weekend to the sale despite my mother's house being in a very rural location.
Furthermore, we sold almost everything. All the big items were sold and just a relatively few items were left which I donated.
I was happy with my decision to hire Fecit Antiques and Estates company because we ended up getting rid of a lot of belongings with no hassle and also ended up with a good profit from the sale!
