Great Planes Trading Co. was founded in 1992 by Michael "Rat" Urness. GPTC is a licensed antique tool seller, auction management and consulting business based in Chesterfield (St. Louis County) Missouri.

Our auctions feature antique tools including woodworking, metalworking, wrenches, leather working etc. In recent years, we have begun to add antique kitchen and household collectibles like sad irons, trivets or stands, apple peelers, cherry stoners, primitives, surveying instruments and many other items. We average one auction every two months with four sales per year in St. Charles, Missouri; one in Humboldt in May; and one held in conjunction with one of the clubs we belong to.
