Buffalo Nickel Estate Sales

Becky Elliott is an extremely conscientious, hardworking woman who conducted our recent estate sale in a HUGE house. It was not an easy task. She was organized and always very positive, easy to work with. What impressed me about Becky initially was that she answered our phone calls!!! She priced everything accordingly , made sure the sale was advertised on line and in the neighborhood. .We did very well in the sale.

We were also happy that Becky had people come in after the sale ; all the metal items were taken to be recycled . Other items went to charity. Garbage went into a dumpster. Becky took care of all the arrangements. We were so overwhelmed by the house but Becky made it easy!! She was kind, gentle, smart, funny and honest.

As an aside, Becky found my mother’s baby bracelet which was broken into two pieces. She did not throw it away. She gave it to me even though it really did not look like much. I took it to a jeweler and he made two wonderful bracelets from mom’s broken bracelet. I am SO happy about that.

Our family needed to conduct an estate sale on a recently inherited property. We contacted several estate sale companies and from day one, dealing with Becky Elliott at Buffalo Nickel Estate Sales was a pleasant experience. She promptly responded to our initial inquiries and went out of her way to accommodate our schedule for a consultation at the property since we live out of town. She arrived early and during the consultation explained our options for having an in-home sale as well as an on-line sale, and detailed the pros and cons of each.

We chose to conduct an on-line estate auction and Becky recommended which on-line auction services to use. She promptly sent us the contract which was very straight forward and easy to understand. Within a couple days, Becky and her staff were at the house cleaning, organizing and photographing items for the sale. The on-line auction was conducted for almost two weeks which allowed greater visibility and increased sales.

Becky went above and beyond expectations by taking a number of items that did not sell as part of the auction and quickly sold them on Facebook Marketplace, which significantly increased the sale’s revenue. Becky’s team removed the remaining contents and cleaned the house for a very reasonable fee. Within days following the sale, she provided a detailed summary of the sale’s income/expenses and the final check. We were referred to Becky at Buffalo Nickel by a friend who had used her for their family estate sale. She handled everything for us including some eBay sales that we were very pleased with.
