We have been in the resale business for many years and have a strong knowledge of vintage and antique items. We research items to find their value to maximize your profit.

Estelle “E” is an antique enthusiast. She has over 15 years in the antique business and a lifetime of experience with precious antique items. Her resale experience has taught her about an array of items and value.

Jennifer “J” specializes in organizing, marketing and research; if she doesn't know something she will research it until she finds the answer! Jennifer has dedicated many years to the resale business and has learned from the best, her grandmother.

We will conduct the sale in a professional and efficient manner. To assist with the sale, we will hire individuals as needed, from a pool of honest, experienced, and reliable individuals familiar to us, and the integrity we demand for our services. Unless you instruct us otherwise, we will conduct the sale with two objectives:

• To sell every available item
• To maximize the proceeds

Advertising. We will arrange for appropriate advertisements regarding the sale to appear in the
appropriate media regarding your sale. In addition, we will place a sign in the yard during the sale, and additional signs in the vicinity of the sale, if permitted, with regard to local ordinances.

Organization. We will organize, arrange and display all items to be sold. If, during that process, encounters items that appear to be of especially sentimental value, or we encounter especially valuable items you have not told us about, we will consult with you. Available tables, shelves, and similar areas for display purposes and we will provide additional tables and display cases, as necessary.

Pricing. We will determine and set the selling price of all items by way of “fair market value” and liquidation pricing, and by using the best discretion on selling price trends. We will mark prices on them using price stickers, tags or signs that we will provide.

To whom it may concern,
My family recently employed E & J Estate Sales to handle the estate of our mother/stepmother. This was the first time we have dealt with anything like this. We did not know what to expect or the value of the items that we needed to liquidate. Our experience far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing to liquidate the contents of a house.
Working with Estelle, Jennifer and Daniel made this process very easy. They were able to come in very quickly and were very knowledgeable on what the values of items were in the home. They did research on items they were not sure about and communicated with us about any concerns they had. We were able to come and go as we needed to in the process , but they took care of everything. Things were staged nicely and were organized well. They explained how they would manage the people coming into the house and how they would control what rooms were accessible and keep an eye on items going in and out of the sale. It was clear they have experience in how to handle these things. They had the ability to take credit cards for sales and talked to us about how this would be handled. They talked to us about the process of discounting prices as the sale progressed and asked what our goal for the sale was. Our goal was to get the maximum amount of money while moving a maximum amount of inventory. We needed to get the house ready for sale.
When the sale was over, an individual in the family wanted to take some of the remaining items to a charity she supported and they helped to get all of these items put together for her. They were able to take the rest of the items to local charities. They thoroughly cleaned the house once the items were out and it actually looked cleaner than it did before the sale.
We did not know what to expect in a monetary sense for the sale, but the end result exceeded what our guesstimates were by quite a bit. The percentage that they earned from the sale was worth every penny to us. They were very diligent and spent a great deal of time preparing for the sale as well as cleaning up afterwards.
