Marcia Harris began her career as an interior designer in 1961. Almost 30 years ago, in 1993, she started her antique business and in 1997 added estate sales to her business. Marcia is a retired accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers, who has completed the Core Course as well as the required for accreditation specialty course, Antiques & Residential Content. She strives to continually expand her knowledge and expertise and she subscribes to several antique, art and auction research sites to further her knowledge in the field and uses these sites to value your very special pieces. With her knowledge of space, design and her past retail experience, your home will be beautifully staged for your estate sale.
Please come see us on Day 1. Feels like 118 great items.
Her reputation is without question, and you can depend on having your sale handled with integrity, respect and empathy. Because she believes in total accountability, at the end of the estate sale, you will receive a copy of every sales receipt, bank deposit and sales tax paid. You will also receive a "family box" of items that you might have missed including money, important documents, sensitive information and family pictures and heirlooms. She will be in constant contact with you, and you will be updated as to the progress of your estate sale. You are always welcome to be involved at any level. Her staff is well trained, experienced, friendly and willing to help.
She also believes in giving back to the community and has been an active volunteer and leader in many organizations. She has been the head designer on several fundraising community events. She spent two years in the early 1990's as a volunteer mediator for the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center.
