They did an amazing job with my sister's estate. They really know their stuff when it comes to collectables. I found them to be very honest and gave them free access to the house. I will definitely use them again. They took care of everything including going into attic to get stuff down. They protected antique doors that were there during the sale. Any doors that they took down were put back up exactly where they were after the sale. They took small items home to price in order to expedite the sale.Don't discard anything because it's amazing what is worth something and they know. They weren't pushy like I found some that I had interviewed. They were more like family. If I wanted to keep something it was not a problem which was not the case with others I interviewed. I feel I have to give props to Christa and Robert for the way they handled my mothers' estate. They did everything with care and proficiency, even down to returning emails and phone calls. This was a very hard time for my family as we just lost our mother a few months ago but it had to be done and fast. I felt their pricing was fair to both us and to the customers'. Most of the stuff sold and they were VERY good to advertise everywhere they could on the internet. I don't know how they do it but they know their business. During the sale they were constantly moving things, re-grouping etc. They work hard. They were very compassionate with me and my sister. They understood how hard this was for us. "For our family this was a "first time" experience with an Estate Sale. From the initial contact to the final good bye, the Deals and their team were extremely professional. They were forthright and explained every step to us so we would know what to expect. When we had a huge 7 inch rain on the first day of the sale, they did not flinch but stayed the course and were determined to make up for the loss of attendance in the final two days. He only wishes he could have watched the operation in action…Bob likes organizing things so he would have been in heaven. Thank you for keeping him in the loop which was helpful since he is overseas and as you can imagine there are several moving parts involved with this process. Two of our friends bought houses on the water outside Fort Lauderdale and they are really happy. Can you tell us the name of the city you were visiting on vacation when Bob spoke with you. After interviewing several companies in the North Texas area, we decided to hire Christa and Robert Deal to handle the very daunting task of settling our parents estate. Quite frankly we were overwhelmed at the mere thought of cleaning everything out. Christa and Robert arrived exactly as scheduled, were exceedingly professional and we instantly knew everything was going to be fine. With no more than 4 appointments they had everything sorted, cleaned, organized and priced. Prior the start of the sale they handled all advertising and photography on social media and it created so much excitement we had a line of customers down the entire block the first morning. The sale was staged through out the entire house and they had an employee in each room to watch over our property, answer questions, and generate sales. Deal's Estate Sale did the estate sale for my fathers estate when he passed.
If you could give them a rating of '10' I would. They told me not to throw away anything as I went through the house. They advertised, went through everything, threw away the trash, set up, sold, boxed the left overs and cleaned after themselves. I was unable to be at the sale so I sent in two people to check it out for me. The reports were great. Steady flow of people. People waiting before it started. Set up of sale incredible. Clear and concise policy posted. Sales team was professional and efficient. There were a couple of people who gave her their number with interest in buying the house. One made me an offer yesterday and he too commented on how impressed he was with the estate sale.

The Deals managed my Mother's Estate Sale. After the family had sorted through items and taken what we wanted, they went through the entire house - including the attic - and sold them in a 3 day estate sale. They charge a commission, and items not sold are donated to charity and we got a donation tax receipt. They were great. They are friendly, know how to price items, and were nice enough to put aside items that they thought we might want to keep in the family. When the sale was over, the house was left completely empty and swept clean. Such a help during a difficult time. My mistake was not keeping some of the things before they got there - I gave clothes to charity, and threw out things like partially used shampoo, etc, that the Deals later told me they'd rather take care of - it's amazing what they can sell. Do interview several people to feel comfortable with the ones that will take over your home. Deal was excellent. Do find out what happens when the sale is over. Deal handled everything. I live 5 hours from where the sale was happening, and they were able to handle everything, and lock up a clean house when they were done. I didn't have to come back behind them.
