Antique etching by Jules Michelin. Michelin was a respected 19th-century French printmaker and part of the École des Beaux-Arts circle. Many of his works were published as part of “Société des Aquafortistes” portfolios—an important movement to revive the art of etching in France in the mid-1800s.
