TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

By placing a bid through LiveAuctioneers, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Golden Sun Auctions, Inc. and agree to all terms outlined below.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING

If you have any questions, need additional photos, or require clarification, you must contact us at least three (3) days prior to the auction. After bidding, no questions, disputes, or claims will be entertained.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, AND HOW IS, with no warranties or guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied.

CONDITION & DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

All condition statements, descriptions, and opinions are subjective and represent opinions only, not guarantees.

It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to carefully review all photographs and descriptions and determine condition, authenticity, age, provenance, maker, and value before bidding.

Photographs may not show all flaws, repairs, or irregularities.

Any information provided by Golden Sun Auctions is a courtesy only.

In some cases, we may consult third-party specialists; if so, that information will be disclosed in the listing.

No item may be returned for condition, authenticity, or attribution concerns.

PREVIEW

Preview Day:
Friday before the auction
12:00 PM – 6:30 PM

ALL SALES ARE FINAL at the fall of the hammer.

No refunds, returns, exchanges, or chargebacks will be permitted.

Buyer releases Golden Sun Auctions, Inc. from all liability related to valuation, condition, authenticity, or shipping.

Verbal announcements made by the auctioneer supersede all written descriptions.

Failure to comply with payment or pickup/shipping terms may result in:

Being reported to LiveAuctioneers as an Unpaid Bidder

Forfeiture of ownership rights

Forfeiture of all monies paid

BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX

A 24% buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price.

Applicable California sales tax will be collected unless a valid resale certificate is on file with LiveAuctioneers.

Golden Sun Auctions does not process resale certificates.

Resale certificates must be uploaded to LiveAuctioneers no later than five (5) days before the auction.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payments Under $5,000

Credit card payments ONLY through the LiveAuctioneers secure payment system

No PayPal

No phone, fax, email, or mailed credit card payments

Payments Over $5,000 will be by bank wire transfer ONLY
Wire instructions will be provided after invoicing

General Payment Rules

Invoices will be issued via LiveAuctioneers

Payment is due within 72 hours of invoice issuance

Credit cards on file may be automatically charged after 72 hours of receiving invoice.

Checks and ACH payments may be subject to a 14-business-day hold

Items will not be released until funds have fully cleared.

SHIPPING & PICKUP

Buyers must arrange pickup or shipping within 30 days of auction end. Failure to do so within 45 days will result in forfeiture of items and funds

Ownership rights are forfeited if items are not removed within 90 days

In-House Shipping

Available at our sole discretion

Typically limited to items under $500

U.S. addresses only

Shipped only to the LiveAuctioneers invoice shipping address

Third-Party Shipping

Buyer is responsible for all third-party shipping arrangements and will provide a list of shippers to choose from.

Insurance will be included in your in-house shipping quote.

Golden Sun Auctions is not responsible for loss or damage once items leave our possession

International Shipping

Golden Sun Auctions does not ship internationally but will provide a list of shippers to contact for international shipping.

Buyer is responsible for customs, duties, taxes, and compliance if using a third-party shipper

SHIPPING ADDRESS POLICY

Items will ship only to the shipping address listed on the LiveAuctioneers invoice.
No exceptions.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure their address is correct.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

In-house shipments typically begin the Saturday following the auction

Larger or complex shipments may require additional time

RESERVES

Some lots may carry a reserve

Golden Sun Auctions may bid on behalf of the consignor up to the reserve

Payment is due immediately at the fall of the hammer

VERIFICATION OF FUNDS

Golden Sun Auctions reserves the right to:

Verify funds prior to bidding

Refuse bids at its discretion

COVID / POLICY CHANGES

Due to unforeseen circumstances, policies may be subject to change.
Any changes will be announced and are binding on all bidders.

By bidding—whether in person, online, by phone, absentee, or through an agent—you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
