Description & Details

This is the first batch of pictures with many more to come as we get everything staged.  There is a 4pc Towle sterling Louis XIV coffee and tea service with silver plate tray.  Also a sterling flatware set, service for 12 with serving pieces made by  International.   Wedgewood is the pattern.  There are some odd sterling serving pieces and some odd flatware pieces.  Sterling WILL NOT be at the house until the morning of the sale.  There are some very  nice pieces of furniture at this estate including a midcentury bedroom set (minus the bed).  Please no asking for prices before the sale.  At least three people will be pricing this sale so no one person knows all the prices.   My number is provided on this site for questions OTHER THAN PRICING!  Text only please!  Text only because of the amount of  spam calls I get in a day. I will not answer my phone if I do not recognize the number.  Again we DO NOT give out prices before the sale.  Saturday we close from 11:30-12noon for lunch and to make sure all items still have their price tag before we open back up.  Some folks will pull the tags early so they can buy the item at a reduced price when we open back up at 12noon.  On Saturday the  Sterling will not be reduced along with the Gold Federal  style mirror

There are more pictures of this mirror including the back on down in the pictures. The label of the company who made this mirror tells us the framing company was the H. Lieber Company in business from 1854 to the late 1970’s. These dates are after the federal period making this mirror be an early reproduction of a federal mirror. The family feels comfortable, based on information told to them over the years, that this mirror is late 1800’s. It was a cherished possession of their great aunt. The mirror has some damage from falling off the wall years ago. Based on the cardboard backing on the mirror the mirror was probably replaced when the mirror fell from the wall. The damage does not take away from the statement this mirror makes hanging on the wall. If the damage bothers you I have a restoration person who works for me who can repair anything that’s damaged on this mirror and I will cover the cost of the repairs. This is the pattern, and these are the type pieces you will getting if you buy our set. Our set is also monogrammed with the letter “S”.
