Artistic Expression What started out as a temporary pastime while looking for an academic position, pottery became a way of life for Emily Lees when she and her husband moved back to her native North Carolina. Like most potters, she started out using the wheel but found her artistic voice in slab-built vessels, some of which are proudly offered in this sale.
