Welcome to our auction. By registering to bid, you agree to the following terms:

Shipping is available within the continental United States only.
An $10 handling fee will be applied per shipping label printed. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges.
Due to size and weight, items will not be combined into one box.
Your credit card on file with AuctionNinja will be charged for basic ground economy shipping.
Insurance will NOT be added unless specifically requested. A signature upon delivery may be automatically be required and charged to your credit card on file with AuctionNinja.
CHIEF ESTATES INC is NOT responsible for any shipment once the carrier takes possession of the package. This includes, but is not limited to: Loss, Damage, Theft & Incorrect shipping address listed on your AuctionNinja account. Buyers are responsible for filing any claims directly with the shipping carrier if issues arise. We strongly recommend requesting a shipping quote prior to bidding to avoid any unexpected charges.
Local pickup items not claimed within 10 days will be charged a storage fee of $10 per day per item. Items not picked up within 30 days of the auction close will be considered forfeited without refund. Do not bid if you are unable to take possession of the item(s) in the specified time period.
All sales are final, there are no credits or returns. All items are sold “AS IS”. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions prior to bidding. Please refer to photos as part of the description. We will do our best to list any damage, repairs or restorations, the absence of these descriptions or conditions must NOT be taken to imply that the lot is in perfect condition or new. Please keep in mind: you are purchasing vintage or used or previously owned items, expect signs of wear. We do our best to describe items but cannot guarantee time periods or authenticity of merchandise sold. Buyers must rely on their own knowledge when purchasing merchandise. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions. Check your item carefully before bidding. The final judgement is ultimately up to the BIDDER. We will always share our best opinion as to what we think things are but please do your own research as well. Questions are ALWAYS encouraged before bidding!
PHOTOS are an integral part of the description. We provide multiple photos and measurements along with other pertinent information. Please take the time to examine and review everything.
BIDS placed through the AUCTION NINJA website on behalf of CHIEF ESTATES INC. are a binding contract, and you are responsible for paying all amounts due to CHIEF ESTATES INC. including sale price, buyer’s premium and all applicable sales tax. Please do not bid if you are unable to pay and take possession of the items in the specified time periods for each auction. All sales are final. No returns, exchanges or credits.
BUYERS PREMIUM: A buyer’s premium of 18% will be added to the final price and will be charged to the credit/debit card on file at the close of the auction. Please consider this additional cost before bidding.
SALES TAX: All sales are subject to sales tax laws. Tax exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of the sale to AUCTION NINJA for approval. You can do this when you register to bid on AUCTION NINJA. Your profile name & address must match your resale certificate. AUCTION NINJA will keep this information on file for future auctions.

A. Property Sold "As Is"
A.1. All property is sold as is, where is, with no guarantees. Neither the consignor(s) nor Chief Estates Inc. makes any expressed or implied warranties regarding:
Size, count, or weight
Style or authenticity
Period, material, or craftsmanship
Manufacturer, copyright, or reproduction rights
Unless specifically stated at the time of sale.
A.2. All measurements and weights are approximate.
A.3. Chief Estates Inc. is not responsible for typographical or clerical errors.
A.4. All glassware is sold as is. Items are not individually inspected for chips or cracks.
A.5. Chief Estates Inc. is not liable for damage to glass protecting artwork or frames, regardless of cause.
A.6. All sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted under any circumstance.
A.7. Signatures are not guaranteed to be authentic unless explicitly stated during the auction.
A.8. If authenticity is guaranteed, the buyer must notify Chief Estates Inc. within 7 calendar days of discovery, and no later than 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.
A.9. Catalog descriptions are intended as a general guide. Bidders are strongly encouraged to preview items in person or request additional information prior to bidding.
B. Bidding
B.1. Chief Estates Inc. reserves the right to withdraw, combine, or divide any lot prior to the start of bidding.
B.2. The purchase price is the sum of:
The final bid (hammer price)
Stated buyers premium
Applicable sales tax (if any)
B.3. Some lots may carry a reserve (minimum price). Reserves are confidential and will not exceed the published low estimate.
B.4. Bids may be executed by the auctioneer on behalf of absentee bidders and consignors, up to the reserve.
B.5. Chief Estates Inc. may reject any bid or refuse to acknowledge any bidder. The auctioneer's decision is final in all bidding disputes. In case of post-sale disputes, our official sale record will be conclusive.
B.6. Employees of Chief Estates Inc. may bid and may possess internal information unavailable to the public due to their professional role.
