STUNNING ANTIQUE ITALIAN ENAMEL HAND PAINTED
COMPACT ROUGE CASE with FABRIC COVERED OUTER BOX.
The enamel courting scene has inlays of green Malachite, and deep blue lapis-like inlay. It appears to be Silver over brass. I did not find any maker marks.
The fabric has green, red, blue and gold embroidered circle pattern. The compact still has a minimal amount of powder and a soft round powder applicator.
Rarely do you find such an exquisite compact in such good condition with outer box intact.
Measures approximately 3 1/2” wide by 3” top to bottom by 3/4” thick.
