This is your opportunity to acquire a genuine antique Wurlitzer Art Deco “Butterfly” (baby) Grand Piano. This remarkable instrument has been cherished by the same family for the past 50 years. My client inherited it from his father, a well-known piano tuner and repairman in New York City, who had many great stories to share. The piano was originally purchased for my client's mother, who adored it.

Last fall, the piano was appraised at $8,000, which reflects its resale value rather than its insurance value. It was recently tuned on Monday, March 24th, by Joseph Gotta of A 440 Piano Services. I was present during the tuning, and Mr. Gotta, who is my personal piano tuner, has previously tuned this piano and another baby grand that my clients owned until recently. He is highly respected in Charlotte, and the pianos he tunes belong to many notable clients/venues. I can assist a prospective buyer in obtaining a quote from a local piano moving company that I have personally used and that Miller Piano Company uses/endorses. Two years ago, I sold a baby grand piano and successfully coordinated the move, ensuring a convenient day and time for both the mover and the buyer. Pickup DetailsPick-up will take place on Sunday, April 6th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
If you're unable to make it on that day, we can explore alternative pick-up options; please note that there will be no evening pick-ups available. Should you need to hire a mover who can only pick up during the week/daytime, we can certainly arrange something else.

The property is a two-story home and some items are on the second floor - will be noted on the listing.
Please note that there is a steep driveway.

Be sure to bring enough help for moving and loading, as Thrifty Blonde and staff are unable to assist due to our liability insurance limitations.
