Early 20th Century Kashan rug, 11 x 20 feet!

There simply isn't enough adjectives to describe this early 20th Century Karastan rug! A massive 11 x 20 feet, with the thickest pile I've ever seen - at least an inch thick! The rug was purchased (gently used, from a family friend) in the late 60s, when our clients' parents were living in Midtown Memphis. In the mid-70's, it was Insured for $10,000 – nearly $60K in today's money! It could use a light cleaning, and the edge along the sliding glass doors is just a bit faded, but otherwise in great condition. No worn spots, at all.
