19th Century Hand Painted Porcelain Centrepiece w/Brass Mounting Hua Rong Tang Zhi

Decorative porcelain, bolted, footed centerpiece, made in China, ca: 20th Century. Large green crackled porcelain with metal fittings. The green bowl has a medallion front and back with pair of long tailed birds sitting on a branch. There is a ribbon and floral border around top and floral swag coming off medallion with four pendants. Base porcelain has a floral spray front and back and a ribbon and floral border at base. All metal mounts, handles, rim, have been gilded. It is the name of the Guangdong Porcelain Hall from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China. It is a fine porcelain product specially exported to European and American aristocrats. It is also a representative of high-level porcelain after the official kiln in the Qing Dynasty, world-renowned, and Huarongtang is a fine porcelain after the Qing Dynasty. The painted porcelain made by Huarongtang has distinct composition, elegant and bright colors, delicate and smooth lines, exquisite workmanship, vividness, lifelikeness, novel decoration, perfect appearance and fine workmanship. It is a worthy collection. The centerpiece is in excellent condition. The bottom of the piece has the Hua Rong Tang Zhi marking.

Measures 14 1/2 inches high x 14 inches across from handle to handle. The ceramic disk is 9 inches in diameter.

There are no indications of chips, cracks or repairs.
