This "Captain's Desk" is in great condition! It is missing two knobs on drawers located on the sides of the desk and the hinged compartment on the absolute top of the desk closes though very slightly "off".

This is a small writing desk, perfect in a child's room or as spot to deposit mail, etc in a foyer or hall.

This antique metamorphic library chair is a rare and ingenious example of multi-functional furniture. Designed to serve as a comfortable chair and convert into steps, it reflects the practical craftsmanship and innovative design of the period. The chair is missing a few "step slats" and will need to be replaced, however the chair is completely functional as a chair but in order to be utilized as a library type step the needed components will need to be replaced.
