His mother's family arrived in the United States and specifically Gloucester County, VA from Ireland via Haiti in the mid-19th century. The family eventually ended up in Norfolk, VA. The gentleman's mother inherited many of the family's treasures which on closer inspection are very fine and have been beautifully kept.
